I bought a GE model 2000 and it all of a suddenly started to act up. The freezer seem to be ok besides the ice in the icemaker getting jammed up once in a while but the fridge temperature isn't working right. I do feel some cool air but all my food went bad. Any solutions?

Hi weeks252010. You stated that the fridge is new. Do you have a warranty on it?, and is it still in effect, if so call the dealer where you bought it and tell them the problem you are having with it. And if you aren't satisfied ask them if they will check it out or replace it. Every time I buy a large or major appliance, I always keep my receipt. I have this box that I put all my receipts in. If you just purchased this refrigerator you shouldn't have any problem getting the problem solves.

I bought the fridge of off craigslist so I don't have any kind of warranty. I can't afford to pay somebody $200 to see if they 'might' be able to fix it either. I'm a handy man though so if there is a way to fix it i'm sure I can get'r done myself :) I was hoping to find somebody that's had a similar problem themselves or know somebody that has to kind of guide me thru this.
