I am talking here about a very recent experience in my life. I was attending a session by a self acclaimed guru. He was talking about life - how to improve it. Now, a thought came into me while listening- do I need him to talk about what should i do. Means he was talking about things which i have understood from my experiences and I follow them. these speakers arrange them into speeches and books and shows. I do not. that is the only difference.
i decided that I do not need them. For i CAN learn all they speak and write through my experiences. Do you think you need them?
A footnote - there is a guy who write books like -'How to be successful in life' in my mother tongue. i don't know how many of the readers have become successful but he definite has. he is a millionaire now for his sales of the books and his shows!!!

Motivational speakers are necessary when you aren't very motivated, and make mistakes in life often. But is is true that for lots of people they aren't essential. It is a respectable profession though, because motivational speakers help others.
At the same time, I've never listened to one and am doing fine.
Some of them, unfortunately, as you say, get successful with books, shows, but aren't very helpful for others. It depends of the person.

May be you are right. For I saw a lot of people in that show. They did not look good. in fact the number of audience the show attracted was the reason i entered the audi. It is a big and expensive audi i must tell you.
Now, I think i also am fine with my own motivator inside me!!

I think so, I attend sessions that has speakers to motivate the audience. Sometimes we just need to hear positive things from someone else.

There seems to be a ton of motivational speakers in my country. Not all write books and are rich from it. It justs seems to me if there are so many of these motivation speakers around you'd think there would be more people out in this world who be doing better in their lives? To me it doesn't seem like it! I just feel some motivation speakers are wasting their time! They don't seem to be getting the word out to the right people! There seems to less motivation in some people then there used to be! If we had more people motivated I think my country would be doing better then it is! That is my opinon.

I think we need motivational speakers because they help to fire us up to face life with vigour. When you listen to a good motivational speaker you are fired up from being lazy to work hard and take the challenges of life with determination.
I have listened to a lot of motivational speaker in my church who was invited by my church pastor. I have also read some motivational books from american writer. I like motivational books such as the one written by Brian Tracy, etc
You do not need to ignore motivational speaker they are very useful to our life success. But it is up to every individual to choose the line he wants to follow if you feel you do not need them then forget about them.
Most people who read and try to apply the principles stated by motivational speaker needs to follow their stragegies with determination. Life in general is not easy there are lot of things that fight against us and our success in life.

i think it depends on the peson who needs motivation. for independent people motivation speakers will be a waste of time. but for some, a second person source who is experienced will be good source of motivation. some people who doesnt have that much of the confidence find strength from people who can serve as role models for them.

There are a lot of motivational speakers you can find on YouTube. They make an impression to me that some of them know what they're saying and some of them are just saying something just to be heard. Of course, when we talk about life, the playing field is wide, too wide for the speaker to go out of bounds. They can say a lot of things and still sound believable. What makes them believable is their uncanny ability to sound confident in front of a lot of people.

No,I definitely don't need to listen to these individuals,I can learn a lot of things from life experience and from the people which are close to me.My opinion is that these motivation speakers only want to profit from people and get rich by convincing them to buy their books, which is wasted money because very few people,if any, will become su7ccessful after reading those books.Unfortunately, many people have confidence in these individuals and buy their books and other materials, thus helping them become extremely rich, while those who attend their sessions still have to struggle daily to survive.

I think they are necessary to persons who are not motivated. But, I think they are important for everyone, because there always some period of our lives that we think that we are going to fail or that everything is wrong. Also, you can't learn everything only based on your own experiences, there is always something new that these persons can teach us.
