I mean to get a great career you must continue your education, but here is my question how much and how long will it take you to pay off your student loans I mean really they don't tell you in high school that you have to pay loans back to the school, its crazy then I found out through a lady that came into my shop that congressman children or grandchildren don't have to pay back their student loans and I was like are you serious that is why our tuition is so high is because by them not paying their money back someone money has to pay back what they are not, this is bogus and the lady who told me is 50 years old so I wouldn't override her on anything she says hey she is way older than I am, I mean really thats not fair, but any way how much stuff have you lost due to student loans and you can't even get a house with some reality companies. Talk about your tax dollars working.

I walked out owing nothing. I took AP classes in high school equivalent to a semester and a half at university. I took summer gen eds at the community college which was cheaper than the university I attended during the regular year. I got a few scholarships and I worked. I worked about 15 hours a week all through the school year, and then worked as seasonal help where I could work as many hours as I wanted at minimum, or just above minimum wage without overtime. My last semester was kind of tough because I could not work and student teach(I signed a contract to get into an exclusive program). My parents loaned me some money which i paid back the summer after graduating, and then got a job right away.
My husband just finished paying them off after 7 years. We could have paid it off earlier, but wanted to have a higher down payment for our house which lowered our mortgage interest rate.

I am not going to go to college most likely, and if I do it will be with money I've already gotten, that is to say I'll only pay for a few courses up front out of my own pocket. As it is I don't know what I want to study anyway and so I'm not too concerned about it.
I definitely don't want to go into debt, I'd rather work retail (which isn't too bad anyway) then anything else.

It is really expensive to go to college these days. I can't believe how the tuition keep on increasing every year.I'm a part time college student and working full time.Fortunately, the company i work for paid all my tuition expenses and books.all i have to do is maintain a c grade every class or i have to pay the company back. I believe in getting education and this is a great opportunity to pass.It was hard at first since i have little ones but with the right time management and a will to succeed, i'm in my last year of my degree.

I do understand where you are coming from on that school is very expensive these days and why so much when you are basically doing the work your self.
