Have any of you that are on Facebook, had to use the "BLOCK" feature yet?

Hey there! In regards to your situation, yeah that happened to me. I was blocked a person who was friends with friends i had. The reason I blocked this certain person because he was too forward with me, and i also find is comments kinda too sarcastic and something else. He did liked me and i don't like him like that at all. One of my friend's post, I thought my friend was talking to himself but it was the person i blocked too. And he messaged me what that person i blocked wrote...because i knew he was telling some stuff bad about me to him on a reply to a post. Block feature is okay, but the thing is I hate it when i'm trying to be nice and love to keep in touch with family or friends and some people literally blocked me, kinda like unfriend and block. I do get hurt from extended family deleting or blocking me for not good reasons. I try not to be too social networky or annoying on the facebook.. even if i was a little bit annoying, i still got blocked from some cousins or extended family... sucks.. i dunno how peoples facebook habits are... block feature is good to avoid those who do worse like super obnoxious comments that can offend you or what they say to you... and some untrust worthy people whom you wouldn't trust to be on a friends list.

hi there, Facebook "Block" is indeed a great invention. People that you don't like wouldn't appear on your homepage once your have blocked him or her. This is great when they can't actually receive your news feed too. Haha. This is a great way to get rid of those people that always annoyed me. I've tried it before, and been found out because that particular person found that i was so inactive in Facebook till he can't find anything about me on his homepage. It's kind of funny, and i just told him that,"oh, i think my Facebook account is encounter with some problem." LOL

I have block a lot of members on facebook, because they want to share their naked photo with me. Their was specific one who was asking for my phone number,and after i refuse he started to write a lot of bad with my name in it so i block him. I have block a few trouble maker as well,so i use the block button a lot if some mess with me their. An i also block ,my friend list because people are going through my friend list and adding people from their.The block feature is working good for me so far.

Hi, SpiritualistKatherin. Welcome to myLot! Yes, I have used the block feature and I have to say that it has worked very well for me. I have been able to block at least seven people all at once. They no longer could see any me, my posts or my pictures anymore. I could not see any of theirs either. This is the way that I like it too.

Hi spiritualistkatherin, I love the block feature which we can get rid of headache users and have a peace of mind on enjoying FB. I started to use it already and when i find suspecting people, i use it as weapon and go ahead with my other friends. Cheers!

Luckily, I haven't had these kind of people as friends, no one's really bothering me like that. But if there was, I would definitely use it since it's a great feature.

yes i already block some.. I find it useful in a way that i dont have any possible connection to people i dont want to talk to.

Love it!! I had to block a few as well. This is by far the best feature on face book if you as me, lol. I had this extremely annoying roommate and well we had a disagreement. She posted some stupid **bleep** on my page. I deleted it and blocked her. She resorted to filling up my email inbox then. So I had to filter her mail to go straight to the trash. I love methods that one can use when they don't want to be bothered by a pesky internet aggravation, LOL!

Hey there, I too like the block feature! It completely shuts people out and give you more privacy. I haven't had to use it a lot, but I did block my family and a few friends so that they couldn't see my profile :P

Oh yes i block and and block in facebook, if i don't talk with that because i don't have theme of conversation i block them, if they haven't behave with me, like,my last boss she didn't pay me my last check, so i blocked her,and to all of those who doesn't desire to be in my facebook.
