What love really is?

Is love just emotions or something far beyond it? What makes us feel the pain when seeing the love of our life with someone else? Why can't we stop thinking about this one person? What is love?
I really have no idea what love is, I can't describe how I feel when I'm in love or why I love someone, but I can list millions of things why I LIKE that person, but it's impossible to tell why you LOVE that person.

I think it is just impossible to describe love. It is a mixture of different emotions. You depend on your love just like you depend on your parents, you want ot his friend or i can say that person is whole world to you. That's why when you start thinking about any thing which persist in this world your thoughts slowly comes to your love. because for you your love is the whole world.You feel the pain when you see your love with someone because you do not want to lose him/her and this fear of losing causes pain.
