I thought I got the best gifts on my birthday, until the greatest came.

As early as 5am of this day, i received various greetings from family and friends as this day is my birthday. From morning while still at home until this afternoon in the office, I am truly joyful on how my family, friends, officemates showed how much they love, and I am so joyful inside. In the early morning I told myself I already received the best gifts on my birthday on that early, and I am already settled on that that's why I made myself believed that what ever comes next after this morning is already a bonus gift for me. But I was wrong because the greatest awaits me. Although today is my birthday, i did not take a birthday leave because of the demand in our office. I understand the very reason why I should work today and it's fine with, no complaint. In the later part of the afternoon, my bosses gave me a blow-out and all of us celebrated. As I went home, I keep on thanking the good Lord with all the blessings He allowed me to experience today. I thought that's the end of it, until I got home. As I unpack my things, my second daughter told me that something bad happen to her while she was in school. She felt a great pain in her stomach that made her vomit and chili. her professor and some of her classmates rush her to the nearest hospital. Thank goodness that her professor was the head nurse in that hospital that is why she was accommodated well. Her professor even paid for her medicine and hospital bill. She did not allow my daughter to be discharged from the hospital until the pain was totally gone and my daughter looks fine already. My daughter was asked by her professor to call or text me, but my daughter refused thinking that today is my birthday and she does not want to spoil my day. Hearing all these i cried, and i even cry more as I pray to God after my conversation with my daughter. I thank God because He took good care of my daughter. I was not in my daughter's side when that tragic situation happen, yet GOD is there, He is the one who stood there in my place. I thought earlier that I already received the best gift on my daughter, but I was wrong because the greatest was given by God. Thanks be to GOD!
