We have seen in movies like Matrix etc where electric pulses sent to brain are able to simulate realities. HAVE YOU THOUGHT OF COMPLETING ENGINEERING IN A DAY? How far are we from such technologies? I don't think its impossible. Do you think some day this will happen?

With man's unlimited quest for knowledge, I think it could be possible. There are many inventions today or technologies today that seem quite impossible for people long ago. Our technology today has many pros and cons like the kind of technology you mention. I have seen that kind of technology already in movies and we don't how soon it will appear or be developed. These are the days where possibilities seem to be endless especially with the developments made on our technology.

You have put very rightly that possibilities are endless. Look where we were just 100 years back? We could hardly even imagine that after 100 years so developed technology will be part of everyone's life. But now we have all this... With kind of growth and speed we have sky is the limit.

I think were very far from achieving such a thing, although I'd like that to happen.
But I think there would be a lot of problems even if you use such technology. Problems like, information overload, cramming more than 4 years of knowledge would probably shut someone brain down.
And also the experience would probably be lacking, in a way. This might sound to cheesy or stupid but I believe there is such a thing as cell memory of body memory. Wherein your body's also contain memories of your previous learning, such as learning how to properly the T-bar or a ruler and a pencil.
But that my opinion on the matter though. Interesting topic.

Wow that's an amazing thought! I'm very glad you have shared it with my brain!
This would be an amazing acheivement to science and technology merging together to benefit the wider community. I think if someone could produce this technology then everyone would want it. It could be dangerous in so many ways, downloading knowledge could get into the worng hands. Does that also mean you could get viruses in the brain? like someone takes over your brain and could control your body?

"If we could download informations in our brain"....??
Well, probably that wont have any effect in our mental abilities. I am not sure whether you know or not, that our brain is the "largest memory bank" which exists, compared to other man made electronic devices. Whatever you have learned or experienced remains in your subconscious mind forever and probably there is no end to its storage capacity. That means you can remember whatever you want and that doesn't require to download it into your brain.
Even if you increase this natural storage bank, the main issue remains unsolved.
Its not "memory" you need to increase, but its "PROCESSING" and "PROCESSING SPEED".
If you can some how increase your brains processing speed or start making at least 2% use of your brain, you can do marvels.

I think that it will be really great, it is not as far as some people think, nowadays we already have simulated realities, I really think that in some years we will be able to learn something very fast, maybe not as fast as we see in the moves, but one day we will be there.
thanks, see you, have a nice day.

It's cool technology if it exist, kinda like the tv series CHUCK... although i'm not sure how this is possible.. but if it is somehow possible i think i would like to try.
