"EUTHANASIA" a reasonable act in a right time

Hi guys! I'm very interested to your comments and additional facts about euthanasia or the "mercy killing". It is an act to a dying man where you have to stop everything which makes him alive (e.g mechanical ventilator, oxygen) to end his suffering, especially to those patients with very very low chance of surviving. Is it reasonable and justifiable enough to end another persons life to stop his suffering?
