this is a post just to mainly show someone a picture. my jac russell pixie, was 5 months old, when i got my partner a little kitten for her birthday. alfie, our cat, is blonde, and the strangest colour of a cat i've ever seen. he didnt like pixie very much when he first came, infact he didnt like any of us. he had been a little wild cat and he was only 5 weeks old, and still needed bottle feeding.. he eventually came round and he has turned into the most lovable big fat cat in the world. he curls up on my knee or round my neck, and he licks your face and nose like a dog would. he answers to his name and if you talk to him he meows back! i love him so much, and have never come across a more affectionate cat ever. my partner used to laugh at me when he was a kitten because i used to tell him off like he was a dog when he would scrab or bite me.. but it bloody worked because he never ever has his claws out ever.. pixie our jack russell adored him from the very start. she follows him around constantly, and if alfie takes himself off to go a wee snooze on our bed, she goes in and gets him to wake him up!! they are the cutest thing! does anyone else have two animals, especially two strange ones like a cat and a dog that hate each other, that can't bare to be apart?

I had 2 grown cats in my house when my 7 year old Jack Russell (Roper) came to live with me. At first Roper didn't like any of us (except me) very much. He wouldn't go near my mom or any of my company. BUT he got along from minute one with the 2 cats. Maybe because he knew that they were there first and he was the newbie in the family. Both cats would curl up around him when they slept. He would play chase the cats and they would wait in hiding for him to walk by and pounce on him.. sometimes gang up and both would pounce at the same time. They'd tussel around on the floor and then fall asleep in a pile. Cutest thing ever! BUT put another cat in the picture and Roper doesn't like him at all..

haha he probably wanted to form an army with the cats against the humans! lol and he probably doesnt like other cats now because he's protective over "his" cats :) pixie chases away other cats to like, defend alfie haha!
