After repeated requests, I have been able to persuade one of my friends to join mylot as my referral. But the problem with him is that he has no personal computer. He always uses the office computer for the purpose of surfing the Internet and does not want to use it for the purpose as it is a money- related activity and being open to all there is every possibility of hacking to take place at every moment. But he has a mobile phone with Internet facility which he uses on emergency purposes. Can he, for the time being, use mobile netting for his work with mylot until he manages to purchase his own computer?

No it won't be helpful. I have tried it using my cell phone. The problem is when we type anything in the mobile phone's editor and finalize what we have typed, everything you have typed is understood as if it was pasted from outside and mylot doesn't allow pasting until you have 200 responses or so.
Mobile phone doesn't input keys side by side as happens on computer, it inputs the whole editor's text at once.
So, I guess mobile phone won't work!!!

That's an interesting question, because I have a BlackBerry and want to do MyLot on the road (buses, at the beach, when Hubby's driving us someplace, that sort of thing). But I myself had trouble accessing MyLot. Is it only specific to the Opera Mini, or work with any browser? I just have the default one that came with my Blackberry. (I been reading all the posts here, btw)

My contract is up this April, and I'm moving to my husband's provider so that we can have a family plan, and I want an iphone as well, for the touch part, I'm having trouble with pressing the buttons. I think the iphone screen would be bigger, as well, which will be good as I'm visiually impaired

Hi Masihi,
I do have a Blackberry and can use mylot with it though mine is a Blackberry storm it runs really slow and some features are not visible because Blackberry does not allow flash player. But if yours does allow the flash player your may run faster. Outside of the speed you should be able to myLot on your phone.
I am getting a free iPhone from my service provider and am happy to hear from the many here that it is very compatible.

Although it is OK to post in Mylot by a mobile phone. However, it is very inconvenient because typing words will be slow. I have a touch screen mobile phone and I try different browsers to access to Mylot. But I am not satisified with it anyway.
I love China

I have don MyLot from my iPhone. It works fine. The only problem is that the screen is small and can be a little harder to post and respond. Now if you have an iPad, you can do it with no problem at all. I can't wait to get me one of them. I am saving the money for it. I know there is no mobile app for MyLot, not yet anyway. I do have a question of my own. I used a forum site once that allowed me to post to the forum right from my email and it was great. The site is still around but not very good. Now, I wonder if I could do that with MyLot. Being able to post and respond right from your email would be much easier on a mobile smart phone. For now, I will keep using the computer.

Hi friend,
Nice to meet you again and its really nice topic. Am a mobile Mylotter.
Thats a very good thing to know, that you have referred your friend to Mylot. And while joining the site, better use pc to join. Because otherwise you may get prob in getting the account and the referral link problems may occure. And after getting the account its the best,i feel,to use Mylot in mobile so that we can be in touch with Mylot friends always.
Good Luck for you friend. Have a nice time here.

Yes DoctorDidi if your friend has access to the net via their cell phone they can participate. There are some cell phones that will not allow certain feature of the site due to not allowing flash player.
But if your friend can access the net via his/her cell phone then it is quite alright to use. I do know several who use their iPhones.

That is a very question because some people have acess to internet only throught their mobile phone. I think the admin would be the right people to answer this question.

I still use my computer at office in my free time. I think it's no problem. In my country, using internet on mobile phone is quite expensive. I don't think that use mylot in handphone is well.

Yes, he can. I"m using my phone for mylot when i'm not using my desktop. It depends on the kind of phone he's using. He must be able to access the internet with it, and screen size should be wide enough for him to see at least part of the entire page. IF not, he's bound to get frustrated over the small sizing and slow loading or pages. Therefore, leaving mylot.

It's nice to see that you have got a referral who may going to be an active one as the good news for you is that you can do mylot from yor mobile. As I am doing it right now.. But you will not be able to use the mylot codes while doing this from mobile. But I am using opera mini latest version dont know about other you may can use the mylot code also if you have a android phone.. Though I am not sure about it.. Have a nice time and happy mylot.

It is a good news to read that you have a mylot referral who want to join the programme but do not have a personal computer and he is thinking of using a mobile phone that is linked to the internet. I do not know if a mobile phone will be able to help me achieve his aim as far as mylot is concerned. I would have advised him to try to use his office computer in as much as his boss does not see him abusing the office working hour. I do not think hackers will disturb him. The money we earn in mylot is too low to attract the attention of mylot. I think he should manage the office computer pending when he save a enough money to buy a laptop. thanks
