Cat is the major subject in dissection in biology majors. well i am a biology major and i had dissected a cat already. i like cats but you know it's necessary. but of course i'll never dissect my own cat. because i hate to kill animals, i presented to do the dissection but in return they would do the catching and killing. hehe well that is really an experience. i'd never forget it. do you agree with this having to dissect animals for us to study?

well it really is interesting at first i'm scared of course but when i started well its a little fun learning new things and for me its fun assembling the bones of the cat we dissected. well its not that bad if you do it right, because just little or no blood at all will come out. but if you have mistakes a lot of blood will come out.

okay so a little mistake of a human will cause the lot of damage. So u learnt a lot and i think this happens with doctors or people who do MBBS for five years. They will have the same sort of things i hope . So you will become a vetenary doctor and mainly i think u will be curing lot of animals and even cats which will be in trouble. You can treat them and cure. Good.

I get learning and learning from experience and science and all so I understand that it may have to be done. Here is where the problem lies... the schools or wherever the dissecting is being done have to get the animals form somewhere. The various places like animal control pounds, shelters are selling the animals. There for they are more interested in killing the animal/cat to make money for themselves than adopting the animal/cat out to a good home. That's what is so crazy wrong with it in my opinion. This was a local issue in my county recently. It's just not right.

It is indeed bad. Making money by pounded animals. They are the one that should give homes, shelter and family to the animals. Who are they to sell the animals. Its really mad. I hope some may act on it.

Personally i would not dissect a cat, it kind of disturbs me. I too like cats. I would be ok if it was a frog though.
