I love to have dreams

I love to dream. It's like I step out of my real life an into something new each night. I know that I dream, and nothing makes sense at all, it's all like crazy-mixed-up nonsense, but in a good way. I'm pretty happy in my dreams as well. I'm always on some sort of adventure. or I'm enjoying being with someone, or I'm having Holy Communion where the eucharist are croissant rolls!
I wish I can remember my dreams, most times I wake up and forget :-p hehehe. But it would be lovely if I can actually remember, though.
My real life is stressful, and I'm truly not happy, to be honest. It's like I'm so depressed, and that when I lay my head down on the pillow, it's like a relief, or a break from my real life. I welcome it :-)

"My real life is stressful...." I do not know the circumstances that makes u say so. But I am happy u have developed interest to put it on line so that it is equivalent to ur speaking to some person standing before you.
Dreams I remember for the first few minutes after getting up from bed. But I cannot remember say by afternoon itself unless i make efforts to remember.
In a way it is good I forget the dream because many dreams are not pleasant ones.
good day.

Aww, I feel bad when someone says they have dreams that aren't pleasant, I suppose I'm blessed with dreams that are pleasant, I know some people who have nightmares a lot and that can be stressful in itself.

i really enjoy the dreams i have at the moment. i haven't always, i remember having a few recurring dreams, like falling, or a few others that were more nightmares than dreams, but they seem to have all gone, and i enjoy dreaming now.
people say, and its make sense to me, that dreams are sorting out our subconscious mind for us, and i have been doing that in real life too, and i now wake up feeling quite happy with what i've dreamt.
i think probably if you enjoy your dreams, mashisi, even when life isn't too much fun, thst your dreams sre sorting things out for you.
i think we have to work with them, as i think when i ignored my recurring nightmares my subconscious was telling me something and i wasn't listening.

Well, I have recently been paying attention to my dreams, and I think they're just things that I think about a lot and what I truly want, that sort of thing. One was pretty strange, I had a dream about my husband making me go near where my ex-boyfriend was, then I ended up marrying my ex, then he started looking like Michael Jackson, then after that we were in survival mode, trying to escape some weird people. LOL dreams like that I have, they're soooo strange! :-p
Hmmm...no recurring dreams, though...

you seem to have very vivid dreams.
when i have a strange dream that i can remember i ask a friend what it means, and he usually gives me the answer i want.
i think your dream is about the similarities between your husband and your ex boyfriend. as i find that although men i have relationships with are all very different at another level they have quite a lot in common. and i think your subconscious is comparing.
it seems to think you made the right choice of husband though!

Hmm...ya, that might very well be true because both hubby and ex exhibited the same negative qualities, however Hubby never lied to me or cheated on me, which is very rare to find in this day and age. I do believe that I made the choice of the better - my husband of ten years.

Dreams can be a nice escape from your cares--provided that your troubles don't follow you into dreamland. With me, they frequently do when I'm extremely stressed; my mind continues to work at the issue even after I have tried to shut down for the night. Either that, or the dream will be pleasant, but the pain comes when I wake up or get semi-awake and realize that it wasn't real.
Eventually, though, these periods of high stress pass. It's just very difficult while I am going through them. The upside, though, is that I spend more time working on things late into the night; I can pretend that I'm being semi-productive, at least.

I think the brain is processing areas of our lives to just sort things through, and I see dreams as a de-stresser, at least for me, it is. Also discussing dreams with each other can help us realise what dreams are telling us, or give us a chance the analyse the psychology of the relationship between our lives, dreams, and thought processes.
Kinda interesting, but I'll stop before I start rambling

I am sorry to hear that your life is this way, but I understand the way you feel. Sometimes our days can be so disappointing and aggrevating, that I personally look forward to getting some shut eyes, forgetting about all my problems and drifting into my little fantasy world. I will admit tht sometimes my dreams could aggrevate me more than what I already am, but it sometimes beats dealing with the reality world.

Aww, sorry you have dreams that aggravate you, that sucks :-( Sometimes I have dreams about my past, and I wake up crying, but thank heavens it's not often.

Do you often remember your dreams, or instantly forget most of the time? There are some dreams that I remember after years later, but very rare. I do have a handful of dream memeories.

I love having dreams too. Especially happy and positive dreams. I don't like to have negative or scary dreams as I take them sometimes as warnings or negative premonitions. I'm weird. My favorite dreams are the ones set in the old times. Like I was time traveling. Last night I dreamt about being in the medieval age. I was a princess and in a castle, there were scary parts but there are happy parts.

Ooo, that sounds lovely! I'm fascinated with history, especially ancient and medieval history, but no, I've always dreamed in the present era, as far as I can remember.

thanks. I dreamed of the medieval age maybe because I was thinking so much about it! I love history too. And maybe I was just thinking about it too much that's why I dreamed about it.

Yes many times being able to go to sleep and Dream can be so relaxing and much needed especially at a time things are quite stressful. I know it would be nice to remember some of the better dreams that we have. Often times I find myself dreaming about places I used to live and Good things which is interesting because a lot of the memories I have about them when I am awake are usually not the Best.

You know I can wake up and fall asleep ten times during the night and have ten different dreams. Not all of mine are happy ones but I think that I am too much of a thinker which causes me to dream too much. I can remember most of my dreams and oddly the ones I really want to last somehow I wake up too quickly from them.

Oh wow, broken sleep isn't that good :-s I'm actually a thinker as well, so maybe that's why I'm able to dream easily. Even if I don't remember anything about my dream, I know for a fact that I had a dream, and that the dreams are in colour.
