some people are undecided some are impulsive and so
e are hard... how do u find yourself as a buyer? do you shop on a budget? or do u buy things when u feel like buying?
i used to be an impulse buyer. most of the time i buy things unplanned. But after getting married i changed. Now i shop on a budget. Before when i buy clothes i look if the design fits me well, if it does i buy it right ayaw. but now i check first the price tag and if its within my
range i buy.
now i know better the importance of money i use to shop. i feel happy when i buy something of a good quality at a good price. I look after sales and think before buying.
How about u? how do u shop??

I am what I would call a seasonal shopper. I shop for stuff in the Winter for some warmer clothes and sometimes a coat or gloves. Then in the Summer I look for the dream dress. I have bought three this Summer. I have to shop on a budget too. I usually plan my funds three months in advance. So if I want to go shop I stock up on other things so I am freer at the time to spend more on my shopping if I want to.

That's what I meant. Early on. The two catalogs I use most have a sale price to begin with until a certain date when it goes up. ANd they have late season sales so if I really liked something I can buy a second one for the next season.

I definitely agree with the "stay out of stores" part for myself, but a non-shopper I am not! If it's a budget you're going for you should shop online like me, keeping your cash and online money separate. It lets you indulge yourself into budget based shopping without breaking the bank! :)

Like you, I used to shop on impulse. I'd buy anything I wanted if I had the money. I didn't think about the future. I was bound to spend every penny I had so I was always short. I like to think that I have become a little better at managing money. I think twice before buying anything. I now have my priorities.

i am an impulse shopper myself too!! i might just be hanging around the mall with friends but if i see something i like, i try it on and buy it immediately. that is how i finish up my pocket money. I know that is not a healthy habit but i can't help it. that is the reason why i sometimes don't like to go to malls.

Hehe that sounds to be a good idea but I never go anywhere without my purse. Not even running in the morning. It just doesn't feel right

My sister in law and I have this habit of just taking with us a certain amount to the mall. And I remember once we really didnt brought money with us, because that day we wanted only to check on good deals from the shops. since we dont have money, we cant buy anything. The mall is also near from the house, sometimes we go there moneyless to just walk and have some exercise. :)

smiles for sure. This one time I was in Walmart and found brand new shoes. I got 4 pairs for like around 3 dollars a pair. I got 3 wedges; they were all same shoe but each a different color. Then I got one other shoe. Lady at register was in shock that those were available somewhere in the store for those prices. I also have gotten compliments on my shoes. :)

I shop online frequently just for fun. Shopping is one of my favorite hobbies, so i guess it's safe to say I'm a pretty contolled shopper. Even when I don't hav money I still like to browse and build pages of watchlists of products and clothes I want to buy. Luckily, I've strayed away from credit cards so I'm not bankrupt. :P but PayPal is my friend so eBay is a very lucky company!

I only buy things as I need them eg I rarely buy clothes, but I only go grocery shopping as my partner doesn't have a car licence. If my partner sees something she likes she has to buy it, im the opposite in that sense.

I rarely see guys who are impulsive buyers... my husband wont like going to mall if we really dont need anything to buy. Thats why I go with my sister in law to shop most of the time. My hubby would only go with me if there is a need to shop for an outfit or his waited shoe, or for the weekly grocery.

Our experiences teach us. We learn from our mistakes indeed. Yes I myself used to be an impulsive buyer once in my life. Buying things on sale just because the price is considerably lower or items that attract my eyes only to find later that those things I really do not need after all. Now I don't do that anymore. I learned from my mistakes already. I would say I am the wisest shopper today. I do shop for what I need only and if I shop for some luxuries I make sure I will use them and make sure everything I buy don't go to waste, of good quality and at the right price. I don't go for items just because it is cheap, I look at the quality and would buy an item even if it is priced the highest among the choices for as long as it is a proven brand. No I don't always go for branded, I can also buy unbranded items if the quality can compete with the branded ones.

I am very impulsive, but that is something that I'm really trying to work on at the moment. My partner and I are trying to save for a house, meaning that we need every penny that we can get our hands on. Whenever I go shopping, I make myself leave the shop and then go back the day after if I still want the item that I'd wanted the day before. More often than not I realise that it would have been a waste of money and I don't bother going back for it at all. I used to waste a lot of money on shopping though, but I am glad that I have learned a much better way of spending my money.

I am not an impulsive buyer, thu sometimes i tend to buy something that is not on the lists.
That happens when i saw items for sale, and if it's worth buying, then i will grab it.
I am not a kind of person that buy extra things, and keep for display/s.
I only buy things that i need,or some extra..but not that much.

Well, the only time I could buy or shop is when I have a lot of money, not on a regular basis though because I dont really have a job. I shop when I go visit another City. But when I am here in my own City, I don't. I was an impulsive buyer once but I am trying to control it though, because I always end up having no money left.

I am a good and smart shopper~ I shop things in list and don't go over budget. The first thing I check whenever I shop is definitely the price of the stuff. That is what I do since young. Check your budget and the price first. I learn budgeting in my own way and glad that the way I manage my money is the same like what the financial consultant will say to you. When I was in university I need to plan my budget properly and from there I start to budget my money seriously. I will only shop things in list, within my budget and have some to keep.(^^)

I use to be an impulsive buyer too but after awhile when I realize how fast the money can be wasted. I decided to snap out of my impulses and buy on a budget. I check the price tag and if it's an affordable price then I purchase it. If I realize that it's too expensive and I don't have that much money to buy it then I put it back and wait till it's on sale.

My husband would often laugh at me whenever he goes with me to shop. If I see a dress and like the design, i'd say "It's so lovely!" Then I check on the price tag and the price is too much, then i'd say, "nah! not that pretty. I'll find a better one. This wasnt that pretty."

I've never been an impulsive shopper. Not that I shop on a budget as well but I feel it's a waste to buy something that you don't need.
Regarding the quality and quantity of shopping I do it's another question. At the beginning when I got my first child I used to buy her a lot of clothes and toys but a little cheaper. She was a little messy when she was young and she was breaking her toys almost immediately. I felt bad to invest in something expensive when I knew that it will be broken or spoiled very fast. Well, now she is bigger and I prefer to buy less things but of a good quality.
People tend to change so let's see what will be my next stage :).

Hi there.
Im a buyer who always think before buying. I make sure that I really wanted the things I will buy. Sometimes I go to massive research to know the quality and price of the thing.
I think its very helpful because in the end, Its me who will suffer.

I'm totally an impulsive buyer. Specially, when I go to shop for make up, clothes and shoes. If I love a new boot and they have on my size, I probably going to buy no matter how much it costs (of course, if cost a loooot, then I'm not going to buy, because I'm not that crazy!).

I am both an impulsive shopper and a smart buyer.
When I am on a tight budget, I see to it first that the items i will buy are necessary and affordable.
I am also an impulsive buyer whenever there are sale mall-wide, I tend to buy things that are not really necessary and buy things that I'm attracted to no matter the price as long as it's not that pricey. Also, when I am on grocery, I buy a lot of goodies whatever I think is delicious and then later, I would feel guilty because I spent a lot for a carbo loading.

I am the impulsive buyer type and mostly regret most items that I have brought home with me. That is why I always remember my lesson now to buy only what is important. I like to buy those on sale although I don't mind buying a few expensive things if it is worth it and if I also really need it because good quality is very important for me.

Hmmm. What kind of a shopper I am? Well, I think, I shop on a budget. I always plan before going to mall to shop. Usually, I make a list: what do I need? and How much money will I'll be spending? then in my list I always put 1(one) spot for the things that I don't really need, for my pleasure because I know that their are some things that always caught our eyes in a mall and you can't really resist it because you WANT it.
