Hongkong and singapore are both good places for a vacation. I think, you consider first the airline fare where there are promotions. For their currencies, Hongkong is cheaper than singapore, but Singaporeans are more friendly and accommodating than Hongkong chinese. But, either way, the enjoyment is what matters most. Have fun! I have been to Hong Kong once and to Singapore three times. Both I found very enjoyable indeed. I would suggest Singapore and Malaysia then you and your mom could see two places. I like the harbor, the national park with the monkeys, the shopping area and the man made beach. I hope that you and your mom will have a really lovely time.

Yes, Singapore would be fun. I have been there a few times, and I very much enjoyed the stay there. Lots of shopping malls, parks, restaurants, beautiful sea-views. If you have the time, you might also want to take your mom to Thailand. There are a number of beautiful beaches and holiday resorts there. The people are very friendly, a "Land of Smiles".

Well dear, make sure before you visit other countries you already have visited the best places we have in the Philippines. We have Boracay, the best beach and I supposed every Filipino should visit this place. We also have beautiful places in Bohol, Vigan, Ilocos, Vicol, Batangas, Laguna, Mountain province and many more. I hope you have seen those places already. Now the latest I've visited was Palawan. This is a wonderful place. Have you been here?

Are you planning a city holiday or would a beach be okay too? I can only speak for myself, but I think both Singapore and Hongkong would be amazing. I would also really like to go to: Shanghai Bali Beijing Cambodia Vietnam So those would be my suggestions :)
