What is the best way to cure a cough?

In my community, normally we categorized cough into two different types. One is cold cough and one is hot cough. By knowing which cough you have, then it's easy to obtain an efficient medicine. Other than taking medicine, fruit juice you make at home by yourself can work well too. For example, you can try to add some salt to lime juice and consume it. It works for me / or will help to reduce throat irritation. One more way is to consume bird nest drink. This works amazingly but it's just too expensive for me to have it when I get cough. So most of the time I will stick with lime juice.

have you tried to take a hot and spicy chicken soup? that really work, trust me try it. i do not use medication so often its better to stay away from medications as long as you can.
