hi there, I am currently using globe tattoo and smart bro (prepaid) and I am not happy about the speed I am getting from them and the money I spent with their service ain't just enough. I mean it is a bit pricey and I am getting a very slow connection. It makes me sad most of the time.

first, i can tell we're countrymen without looking at your profile. XD secondly, yes, this sucks! our internet connection here is superb!, superb in a way of it's "expensiveness". you're paying the exact amount, yet your not having the exact service. i tried complaining over and over again, but to no avail!. i tried disconnecting my smart bro, but they said i signed a 2 year contract, i guess i left that one XD and now, because of our current weather, the internet connection speed goes on and off, up and down, truly horrible for an avid internet surfer, online gamer like me. can you imagine? i have to go to an internet cafe to play or surf the net, yet i have the basic commodities to do that at home.

yeah..that's a bit slow and expensive too. Here in India plenty of plans available according to your needs. I am using a connection with 200 kbps download speed..at the rate of about $13 per month including telephone bills. You should check for a better plan if available.

1 Mb, or megabit is actually 0.125 MB (megabytes). So technically, this is what you get. Other factors, like cable quality etc. can affect your connection speed. My connection speed is 100 Mb/s (80/70 down/up on speedtest) and I pay somewhere around $25 (converted from LTL) No tips to make it faster other than choose a better plan. No software can increase the connection speed magically, keep that in mind.
