Hello Friends :)
I know 3g is not new for many countries.. But for here(in India) its recently launched. And for town very recently. Just a week ago first time I experienced the 3g Internet. And it is quite faster than the normal one. Almost 10 times faster then Internet of the same service provider without 3g.
I wanted to use this kind of speed from starting. But I guess because of its just launched its price are quite higher. Almost 3 times higher than the normal one. I had subscribe it for only one month for testing purpose as i can't continue it every month because of high rating.
But I know this price will come down after some time. And I will be wait for it eagerly.
Now I am back to my normal Internet(slower one). I can go for broadband for higher speed in low cost. But I always wanted portable Internet so i can do it from any place. So I am using my mobile connection for the same. I am really missing that rapid speed.
Now.. Will you go for higher rates for high speed Internet or you are happy with slower one ?? Have you experienced the 3G? (I am sure many other countries people already using it but in India I am sure many people will use it now)

Yes I guess we have to live with it, almost every year their is a newer technology being introduced.I guess it's good for us internet users, because it will mean a faster connection but of course since it's still new it would be a bit expensive than the normal internet we are presently using.
For me, I think I will wait till the charge gets lower. And this will come when these service providers came up with their gimmicks so that consumer's will subscribe to them and it could mean a lower fee too. Thanks for sharing my friend.

Since it was just launched the price is a bit high. It's really good to have a fast internet. 3G like the one we use in the cell phone. I just hope they offered promos for a lower rate.

Yes the 3G speed is infact too good in India..
I stay in Pune and here almost all network providers provide 3g services.. But the monthly rental is not at all affordable... I only affordable 3g network i feel is of BSNL here which provides unlimited 3g internet access at just 720 rs per month.. This one is cheap but as usual the overall service provided by BSNL is not good.. But still many use it over here and i am also willing to give it a try...!!!!

It was there but it was just a launch offer. It was available as bulk 6 month pack at a price RS 4200 RS.so 4200 divided by 6 mmade it 700 rs.

I think you should be updated in this matter.Bsnl 3g is not offering RS 720 per month unlimited plan any more. That was a 3g launch offer.now bsnl 3g cost near 3000 rs per month for unlimited plan.

I have broadband high speed and would be sad to downgrade. I see that the service for 3G by you is quite expensive so probably best to wait until they have a cheaper price. I know here at the end of the year here they are releasing 5G.

In other countries 3g was launched in the year 2003 itself. In India 2g was launched when 4 g was launched in many country.3 g came to India almost after 7 years.
India is slow in introducing new technologies and hate this fact.
I donot use 3g because it is very costly. And i will never use because it is running like a slow internet connection.so why should i pay 3000 RS for 3g and get the speed of slow internet which is at a price of just RS 500.is it not a loss of 2500 RS if i use it.
My cheap mobile internet is good for me.

Well.. I had experienced it couple of times. But speed is quite great in compare of normal mobile connection Internet speed. In 3g I am getting speed of broadband in my mobile and may be more. I don't know why you are telling that you got normal speed in 3g. It is quite fast. Have you used 3g on simple mobile .. I mean we can use 3g only in 3g phones.. I guess you must know about that.

3g is also available in USB sticks my friend.3g usb stick is between rs 2700 to rs 7000.the sim has to be purchased separately and is costly.the cost is rs 750 for the sim alone and this sim cannot be used in phones and it has no video calls. It is only for internet but the data tariff is same.It is directly attachable to computer.
I used 3g stick.some times the speed was like 300 kbps and some times it was like 30 kbps and some times it did not work for whole day.

I have 3G internet on one of my cellphones. It's fast but then it also depends on the signal, if I don't have any signal (as often I don't in the areas I am in) it doesn't help at all. However, when I do have signal it's fast and I enjoy it. I don't have 3G on the computer though.

I'm in one of those countries that's had 3g for a while, the newest being 4g now. But, 3g is reasonably fast enough. I don't really need it to be able to do a whole lot since I use it generally for purposes like e-mail checking, or posting on mylot or other message board-related sites. I use my phone as an internet hotspot and it seems to be working quite nicely. Slower speeds just don't do it for me anymore.

3G may be new to your town but 3G in india was released by december 2010 by BSNL and then followed by airtel, vodafone and all. And for now india has already released 3.5G and many customers are using it and is only available in BSNL so if you want a better internet speed shift to BSNL and of course the tariff charges are very high.

Hi, in Kenya 3G was launched some years back but till now, nothing has changed. Mobile phone providers are fighting mostly on voice and sms to the extend that some are providing free calling from morning to evening but as for data (internet) the price is still the same. The government reduced the taxes for hosting 3G but service providers have stuck in there original charges. So, I think it will take sometime for 3G internet to be cheap-

Hi mate. Here in the Philippines, 3g was offered to the public 3-5 years now. And I would say, it is good to have a 3g. Now we're having the 4g and it is faster than 3g but it made some issues regarding the IP.
But mate, I would pay a lot for a very fast internet, because I am using this for making money online. I cannot hit my quota or my goal for the day if my internet speed is slow. You should analyze everything before you commit to a thing like the internet. If you pay this much, how and when will you get the money you paid for that internet service. That's what I think of first before I buy something expensive.

That's cool that you are already using 4g now.. We just started experience using 3g now. Hope we will get that 4g soon.
And yes if you are doing those online earning then surely you need faster internet. Even I am working on few online earning sites but not much. So Its okay with slower one for me.. But yes faster one is always better.
