I have not experienced any environment with cockroaches, but I can imagine it would be a disgusting sight. It's good that spiders eat them. I like spiders. So to eliminate the cockroaches there is a need for many more spiders. That sounds like a good option.

I don't know a spider big enough to eat the cockroaches around here... but I wouldn't want to meet one of them either!

Well, I was thinking of a teacher, who was somewhere in South America, where she visited a bathroom in a hotel where they had spiders who ate cockroaches. They had the balance of animals to keep the place pretty sanitary clean. Interesting that you found the name of the spider.

hmmm let me decipher bhonti.. I am not sure too but I think these are products of human environmental negligence. We are the ones who let these organisms grow. In comparison with dengue carrier mosquitoes. We let them grow if we do not pay attention to our sanitation responsibilities:)

The only purpose of them perhaps is they serve as "warning signs" or "notifier" when there is a dirty environment caused by humans.
For example, imagine if roaches, worms, flies, mosquitoes etc. never existed. Then perhaps there won't be a concept of cleanliness because even you pile up all the disguting garbage in your living room, dining room, bedroom, etc. it won't matter because these organisms don't exist THOUGH it would really be dumb and unhealthy letting your environment dirty right?
There is what we call as balance in the nature.Everyone that has a life has its own role.A host and a parasite.A predator and a prey.

I hate cockroaches and the moment I see them, I always have this tendency to kill them. I find them very dirty and is afraid that if they are around, there is always a risk of having a disease or getting our food contaminated leading to health problems. I love knowing the idea that spiders eat cockroaches, but I also fear spiders a lot.

According to my instructor before, he visited one country. He observed that people there fried cockroaches and scorpions and sold them on street. Many of bystanders or foreigners bought and ate fried cockroaches as one of their delicacies. Since we are in medical field, we know that cockroaches and scorpions are very dangerous to our health. They walk everywhere and are also vectors of different diseases to humans.

That internet cafe is disgusting. Why are they allowing cockroaches to be in their cafe? They should at least do pest control. Cockroach can also damage computers if they get inside the CPU.

Lizard is also nice because they are also eating cockroach even sometimes cockroach is more bigger them. I also hate cockroach because they look so dirty and when i kill them by slippers i see there body parts and there flesh and there flesh also look so dirty because of its green color. I also hate the cockroach that fly because they are really irritating me.

If I was in an Internet cafe and there was a cockroaches under the computer tables I would get moving out of there. I am very keen on traveling to different countries and in hot countries cockroaches are around in some places. In Brisbane cockroaches were in the kitchen at night. Yuck. I don't like cockroaches. I hate mosquitoes because they bite and can carry disease. I went to Colombia and there in some areas they have malaria, yellow fever and dengue fever. All of these come from an infected mosquito. I don't mind spiders. Slimy organisms sound scary.

i hate cockroaches also because they are dirty and it gives me itch whenever they are near. other than they bring dirt, they also expel microbes that causes allergies.. i also hate rats, lizards, frogs because they don't look nice and rats smells stingy..

I hate cockroaches too and just cannot stand them. Even I wonder as to why they exist on earth. They are so yukky. We generallly see them at places which are kept uncleen. And many a times they spread and it can become a menace. To keep them away it is very important do do pest control. By doing so not only cockroaches but also other insects will not be seen in your house or your work place. So stay clean and safe and away from cockroaches..

I dont hate cockroaches because I don't find them scary. But scares me about these pests are the diseases that they bring around once they contaminate our food. What I hate the most are the slimy, and crawling little things like worms and anything that looks like that. So, it is not the cockroach per se what I am scared of, it is the harm they can potentially bring to our health.

I can take cockroaches UNLESS THEY DON'T FLY! When they do that, it freaks the hell out of me. Honestly, I'd cry if I see a cockroach that won't stop flying.

Oh, man! That was a bummer! I would killed that creepy little thing, instantly with my shoes! Lol! I hate slimy insects too!
