What a turnaround for my husband.

After losing his job the other day, he called up an agency and they had work for him. He started the job yesterday. And he likes it. He's helping to make electronic whiteboards for a bit of a better wage than at his previous job. He called me today when he finished work asking me if I wanted the good news or the bad news first. I started panicking when he said that, thinking that he'd already lost this job. But he said that there was a 2 week layoff at the factory. He then said that he wasn't going to be affected by it. The last thing we would have needed was for him to be laid off again, just after starting the job. He starts work earlier and leaves earlier, and he likes the fact that he can get home before he used to at the other place. His pay is direct deposit, so his weekend will start sooner, and that helps us both out. I'm glad things are finally working out, it seems to always do so, at the last moment.

This is wonderful to hear! I am glad that he will not be affected by the lay offs and that he is liking the new job. I truly believe that when one door closes another one opens. Though mine has been shut for a while it will come some day. I am just glad he was able to quickly get work which will be helfpul for the both of you.

yes i am also happy. for a change u have started a discussion other than on ur cats. I wish ur husband continues in his new job and grows well with it. but u see why lay off in companies. are there are not sufficient orders.? I wish the company picks up and does well. good day.

I am so happy for you! I am glad that things seem to be working out. So many do not get that option right now! Hope it keeps up.

hi kirs thats really wonderful news that he has a new job and likes it and it pays better. My son started out wo rking for a company that made electronic parts and wor ked there for four or five years then the boss retired and someone new and younger came in and laid off all but the few twenty some year olds never mind that they had no actual experience at all . so my son walked right into a job form the old boss at a newer company and again in four years the darned company went bankrupt; I am hoping for your and your husband's sakes that that two week layoff is just for some reconstruction or something and not a sign of impending troubles there. I love direct deposit too as I had that with my last job and its so great.

I'm glad your husband was able to find a job that he likes and that it pays well. I think I would be scared to if he had told me something like that. I'm glad that he isn't being affected by the two week layoff. Perhaps they are letting the long time people have the time off because they are more expensive and the newer people are cheaper to pay. Hopefully this will work out for both of you. Have a great week!!!

He is incredibly luck to have gotten a new job so quickly especially one he likes better and gets paid more. Lots of people go weeks, months or even years without employment.

That is really great. I hope the good luck rubs off on some of us as well. I have an interview Monday for a job that I actually want. Hubby has applied for two or three that he would enjoy having.

Oh, i am happy for you and your husband for getting a new job that he likes. He just have to be patient with it and maybe someday be transferred to another better one again. Just keep your hope in the Lord always. As they say, when a door closes, windows are opened.

It is good to hear that things for you are resolved that soon. Maybe it was a good thing that he lost the other job because a better job was waiting for him. Congratulations to both of you. Best regards.
