Don't eat healthy? Here's a tip.

I just find out yesterday that as a fruit hater I will never go there and eat it willingly so I cutted up bananas in very delicious small sizes and covered with chocolate (only way I can eat fruits) for ice cream coverings.
So I put there near my computer and was working on things for a while, when I was craving, really hungry it was just there and I ate it like it was my favorite food. I like to take my time to eat so I ate a little here and there, and I ate it all.
So the tip is just put it right by your side, anc you'll eat healthy snacks by accident! ^_^ Because it's there when you are hungry.

I used to not eat fruit either - part of the Macrobiotic Diet I was on at the time. I was also allergic to different fruits, so I just ruled all of them out. Most of my daily consumption now though is 100% raw.
I like your approach - it's very creative! I don't eat chocolate myself, though I did receive a bar of organic raw, nas, etc chocolate once as a gift & it was very nice. I apply the principle myself though... if you don't like something that you know is good for you, just prepare it differently until you do! Sometimes it doesn't work out & either looks terrible or tastes terrible or both, then you have to try something different next time. I don't get food cravings these days; I just eat a couple of light meals a day with a couple of green drinking coconuts in between. I really don't feel I need anything else besides. I don't get sick or feel I'm lacking anything. It saves money too that way.

Thank you, I'm interested in this macrobiotic diet, seems very healthy.
Being Vegan actually doesn't make me worried but now I know more about nutrients as I cutted meat, dairy, eggs and all animal things from my meals so I learned more things. The more I learned the more fun it became and I really hated fruits, and now I eat them! Or at least I try.
Today I tried another approach:
Soy milk
Vanilla essence
Sugar
Avocado
I blend it all together, it was, let me see the word is... a-ma-zing. It's like I ate a meal as it full me, and I think it's really healthy.
Fruits are also good to those who believe in the spiritual world, that eating things that comes from under the earth is what give us energy. I like that aproach, I find it intersting so vegetables and fruits are preatty much it.

I'm not really advocating the macrobiotic diet as it excludes raw foods completely. Probably in the early stages, it's best to balance things out with grains like brown rice & beans like lentils, etc until your body can adjust itself to raw foods alone. Might be good to skip the sugar & vanilla essence (which both are not vegan!) & get your taste buds attuned to the natural taste of things. Using whole vanilla beans is really good & will taste much better than vanilla essence if you prepare it well. Have you tried guacamole? Maybe add some lemon juice to the avocado & you're almost there! Fresh organic produce also tastes much better than the regular stuff & is much better for you & the environment as well.
It's good that you're eating more fresh raw foods, which will alkalize our bodies more, keep out diseases, etc, etc.

Yes, that same advice could be used for unhealthy things that we like to eat too much of as well. Having them easily accessible when we are hungry is not a good thing.
I cannot believe that you are not a fan of fruit! Fruits are the most awesome foods on earth! Another thing that you could try is making smoothies. I have smoothies every day and use them as a way to get my leafy greens into me. I am not a big fan of the taste of a lot of leafy greens apart from lettuce, so I mix them with fruit in a smoothie and hey presto! A delicious and nutritious meal! I get the benefits of the chlorophyll from the greens but my smoothie tastes like fruit!

Hi katie: This sound interesting actually. So you are combining a pleasure with a healthy food. I think that's a good tip but you should remember that you should do this with moderation. If you just cover fruits on chocolate you are eating too much calories and you are making your food not really healthy. I would eat a piece of that chocolate as a reward for keeping my healthy plan.

hi katieo then you would get a kick out of a tourist attraction on Newport beach Ca as they sell frozen chocolate covered bananas and they really are delicious. course to me anything with chocolate in it is good. Chex tex trailmix puts out chocolate tex rail mix now and its utterly delicious too. I have to be so careful what I eat as I am a diabetic but at nine each evening I stop mylotting , check my blood sugar then have a snack of peanut butter and ritz or whole grain english muffin with cheddar cheese on it providing my sugar is normal or more likely low.
