Everybody is aware of the many lifestyle diseases that eventually end the life of a person now a days. Two most popular of which are Type 2 Diabetes and Hypertension. Hence, most of us are trying to change into healthy living, which include healthy eating and choosing healthy lifestyle like going to the gym, joining marathons, engaging in any sports, dancing class, yoga class and a lot more. While joining this activity, we also take into consideration eating healthy food. So as a health conscious individual, which do you prefer to eat: Brown Rice or Corn Grits? Me, I prefer brown rice since it gives us more health benefits. Brown rice has more fiber that helps in reducing constipation. It also contains more vitamins and minerals which gives us more health benefits.

My father is a diabetic. Hence, he eats brown rice instead of our usual rice.
I have tried eating brown rice , and i find it palatable also. But they do costs higher than the usual rice, so it's only my father and mother who eats them.

well the brown rice is better for your body and it does not break down near as fast as regular rice into sugars. When trying to go natural AND prevent diabetes or the such it is rather hard at times to make the right choices. Your best bet is to get the free online diebetes guide (it is exensive) and you would not believe the info and all foods they give out for you and explainations. Most I knew but I was flabbergasted by some.
