The test match is not having the expected thrill in it.
Now the test is like that either England can win it or it will be a draw.
I dont think there is any chance for India to win this match.
Indian bowlers has not performed upto the mark.
After 2days England have posted a 1st innings score near to 500.
so now India should score that and in this rainy condition it will take another 2 days or at least 1 and a half day.
so the probability to get a result in this test match is vry narrow.
what do you think?

Taking 20 wickets in 3 days i don't think it is not achievable as now the pitch helping the bowlers haven't see the praveen spell yesterday how the bowling swing no doubt indian team have very powerful batting line but every time they will play is tremendous way is unpredictable so better chance to english player to thrash the indian team if rain doesn't spoil the game..

20 wickets in 3 days in not a big target.
but all that will happen only if India is forced to follow on.
First India should compete the follow on target, then a draw is very easy.
And hope that some one from India will play a good innings like KP did for England.

ya thats right, currently England is in the driving seat.
but even if they took 10 wickets Indian batting is strong enough to fight for a draw in second innings.
I don't think that England can took India all out twice. some one will fight sachin, dravid, gambhir..........so for me the match is going to be draw.

There is a good chance for England in this test match..it will be a draw otherwise.I don't see any chance for Indian team...Out Indian team is like old time Royal infield bike Bullet that takes time to pick up :) but once they get the momentum they will do well against England in rest of the matches.I am sure its not going to be very difficult.

The arrogance of being number one in the world seem to have gone to their head. They don't look 100% dedicated on the ground.Only money making ventures like IPL motivates these fellows. They dont seem to carry any injuries or are prepared to play with injuries when playing for IPL.Yes only 2 results possible now.Either England win or draw

Yes I am also agreeing to you because I think the first day of test match was washed by rain. And if rain comes again another day then there are more chances for this test match draw. But today is day 3. And if the rain doesn’t come and if play continues for whole time then we can find result in this test match.

First things first. It was a mistake to take Zaheer Khan on the tour. He was unfit already. Yet he contributed with 2 wickets, which is great. Now India have a depleted bowling attack. Adding to it, Bhajji, India's best spinner as of today is of no use. He is not in the best of forms and today, India's batting can depend on him more than the bowling. With such a pace attack in which M.S.Dhoni has to bowl, how can India win? The best they can do now is draw this match. It would be a great achievement in the circumstances.

ya zak was not fully fit and he left in the mid way.
even dhoni tried bowling in this test.
At least dhoni should have rested zak for first test and tried sreesanth as zak is injured.
and Harbajan is not in his good form, and in england pitches I dont think there is a lot for him to perform.
and now we can just concentrate on batting and make the match draw.

I will agree with you Venkit that the first test is most likely heading for a draw. The only other result possible is a win for England. India did not do well in the field in the first day and had they caught onto the missed opportunities they might have been in a better position and also could have had some control of the game. England have posted a score of nearly 500 and have put themselves in a safe position. With the weather in England being so unpredictable the likelehood of rain is always there and if that occurs then without a doubt this match will be heading for a draw..

ya India didnt perform well as expected.
the hype given to test match before its start was very big, but unfortunately the test didn't turned out as an interesting one.Lets hope that some good century from sachin or dravid bring something for
Indian fans to cheer.
