how to make money from my website?

i have created a website but i don't know how to utilize it to earn money out of it. Even i am in confusion what to write on it, which topic suitable for earning money. so please help me and give me the valuable guidance over this cloud.

One way to make some earnings would be to make your website a venue for promoting businesses. You can promote your own business or/and promote other businesses on commission basis. If you have things you want to sell, goods or services, that would be a good way.
