Hey fellow mylotees...
I was thinking about setting up an online e-store.
I was wondering how should I generate popularity to the site as the internet is vast.
Also I was wondering about the proper steps I should take to prevent lawsuits for any infridgement of pictures whatsoever.
Please feel free to suggest ways for me to improve visitors going to the site and so on.
Also, should I use Paypalâ„¢ or Google Checkoutâ„¢?

When it comes to marketing your e-store, first you need to think about the type of people (i.e. customers) that want your products. Even if your store reaches 5,000,000 people, if they do not need your product, it just won't work.
When it comes to using other photographers work, I'd ask them. Many websites have a contact us section where you can get in touch with the author. Sometimes an email can go a long way.
If I knew what type of an e-store it was, I could elaborate further. There are a millions ways to get visitors online, but it depends on who you are marketing toward. Good luck and happy mylotting!

Hi Chocaly,
1. You can use such free sites like trafficswarm to generate traffic to your site, sorry, e-store......but it should have items which are interesting.
2. For prevention of lawsuits, put in a long and complex disclaimer clause-the type which no one reads.Your visitors should be able to reach your e-store only when they
have confirmed their understanding of the terms.
3. Paypal is reliable. I have no idea about other revenue transaction sites except for Alertpay.Hence-no comments.
Best of luck
