How many posts do you make each day?

Mylot logo - An interesting take on the myLot logo, it looks as if it is meant to be shaking from side to side.

I was wondering how many posts people make each day. Sure, it's easy enough to try and write as many posts as possible, but there's got to be a point where people run out of ideas for things to write, hasn't there? In that case, does that mean that MyLot has a limited shelf-life? I only started on MyLot a couple of days ago and am trying to fit in as many posts as possible, but how many posts do you try to write each day? Do you give yourself a target?

bw0235 I do not count posts as thats just a waste of time, I do quality posts so I go after quality and earn better than if ti make ten times as many inane posts and earn zero.mylot does not pay x cents per post , mylot pays so much for quality and each person earns a different amount per post as each quality will vary. we are not given any rate at all and are asked not to ask about the algorithm as thats all a secret.asking in a discussion is against mylot rules and will be deleted. read the guidelines and rules of discussion and the questions and answers as you will find answers to any and all questions you may have about mylot. take your time to do quality posts and do not go off doing a zillion trashy posts that will earn you zip.Never count posts just make each one count instead.

I just started last 2 days I guess. I make more or less 20 posts day. I make targets but when i feel like tired, I stop for awhile. I think running out of idea is least possible. You can see every post everyday and it's undeniable that one or more of the topic will catch your attention. It's really fun learning in here:)

It depends on the day. Some days, I am able to respond to more discussions than other days. I do try to respond to as many discussions as I can, but there are still days when I am able to respond to more than other days. It will really vary from day to day. I have good days, and others that aren't as productive.

I really just post and keep posting to be honest with you. Keep looking for interesting topics and just keep working on here as time permits. It really might be a little time each day, it might be slightly more, or it might not really be a lot of time at all. I just tend to work through as much of a time. Sometimes I also throw a topic or two of my own into the field, to see what pops up for this. I might post for a little bit in the morning, return for a little bit in the evening in some days. Just don't worry all that much about the little number next to your name. It is really meaningless in many ways. So just remember to have a lot of fun and remember don't try and stress yourself out if you don't post all that much.

That's really good advice, thanks! I guess a lot of people tend to put more emphasis on ratings and such and forget what sites like this are really aiming at.

Welcome to myLot! I have been an active member now for 10 full months. I did sign up a year but did not become active until the third month. What I learned here from the many wonderful veterans is that if we allow our activity here to simply flow we would be amazed on how well our progress and or earnings flow. Their take was if we count posts and or set a target then we will not enter discussions with full interest and can get a bit sloppy. See if for example you say I will do 30, then what happens if you can't find interest in 30, then you will enter just about anything to achieve that amount. Doing so you will not be thinking about guidelines and what happens the next day if 5 or 10 of them get deleted. Now you will have yet more to do the next day and this becomes a chore. Personally I have no idea how many I do in a day, I enjoy entering discussions and furthering them and each month the wonderful bonus is simply that for my efforts here. I believed in them and as you can see from my participation here I do very well. I make far more then the minimum payout each and every month. I have never counted posts and simply enter discussions of interests, that way I will be enjoying my time here. The veterans often say that if we enter specifically discussions we are interested in and or can provide useful information, the more we further it. The more one returns to discussions the more earnings one can achieve. I will be forever grateful that I did listen to them and do hope you will too. Welcome aboard and enjoy your stay!

Thank's for the response. I'm really starting to think more of this website. It's great to see so many enthusiastic people posting discussions that they are personally interested about! It kinda goes to show that quality is far more important that quantity. Thank you for the welcome! :)

I think that the secret to mylot is that you can't count your posts - you need to just participate as much as you can and respond to any discussions that really jump out at you and mean something to you. Remember, as the others have said, that the earnings from posts are dependant on quality rather than quantity, so there is no point in just responding to every discussion if you are not going to be contributing - you will not then add value to the discussion and therefore won't get paid for it!

Well i dont make posts but i respond more frequently to discussions say i do it about 10 responses everyday, this makes me earn more because having a post you can't tell the number of responses you get in, and its much slower process, yeah if the post you made is popular than you can surely have a good discussion started and you can earn more on it but talking about responding you are guaranteed with earning if you respond 10 discussion with big lines. Talking about the target i do a search activity and set of a target to achieve the reward of at least more than 15 cents than i make lot of responding activity so this is how my schedule of mylot works for me.

it depends on the mood i have each day. there are times when i feel very tired and lazy. all i wanted was to sleep haha. but when i'm already recharged, i'll switch the computer and start on posting again. i can't remember how many i post each day. uhmm,,maybe approximately 15 per day? haha, i wish i could post more since i am intimidated with those who have 1000+ or more beside their name. i try harder i guess. you'll never run out of ideas here since there are so many topics that can get your attention.. happy myLotting!

Having a target actually is good. This makes us to focus on our goal for example a number of hours or posts a day will do. I usually try to post at least 10 posts a day or more if possible. This way I could keep my earnings consistent enough to be able to reach payout. But during weekends I usually spend more time to post as I have more free time. I would also suggest to you as you are new to myLot to have a target. Welcome to myLot! Have a nice day!

I'm not really counting my number of posts yet and I will never set myself a target. Setting a target makes me obligated and pressured to post in here which can take the fun out of staying in here. I just post whenever I can. The past few days I didn't post much because I'm really tired and busy at the same time. Having an option on when to post or not is better because you are not stressed to post out. So I just go with the flow of my mood. But certainly, I try my best to reach payout each and every month if I can.

As for me, i am also new on here and i made as many as much of posts i can make on here everyday beleiving that if you have much time to use online eachday you can comeout by making much and many post per day which will be okay for you and your earnings on mylot.

Before today I never really gave myself a target, just got on here and responded to a few discussions until I was bored (which usually didn't take long). Today I'm trying to respond to at least 10 discussions, and maybe I'll make one or two of my own discussions later on. This is mainly to see how much I can make every day as I really want to increase my earnings on here. I know it's possible, just not sure how much I have to write to reach my goal!

There are no limits for me to posting on mylot each day. Because sometimes I have posted here more than 70 posting. Yes it is true because I like to give more and more posting and I always try to give quality in my posting. I think when I come on this site then I give minimum 20 posting everyday here. Because I love mylotting. And now I come after long time on this site so now I want to started as I doing in past.

I enjoy reading other's posts. I like to give responses. It varies each day how many comments I give. I try to write useful comments. I've been here since January. there are days when I write only a few responses. Than others days I reach over 15 comments. I believe it is the quality of the context that matters.

I will usually respond to a few then go do something else and sometimes come back. I don't usually have a target or count the posts I am doing. I just usually respond to something I am interested in or feel like talking about at the time.

As I am a student myself, whenever I got time I used give post as like facebook. I just joined here few days ago. But I fall in love with mylot. I do not have any target to post. I take mylot as a communication site. I like to read the comments rather than posting comments. I learnt a lot from mylot on various discussion. Mylot really helped a lot to know.

between 2-5 posts per day, but recently.. and i try to make my posts as best as possible, and each time someone replies to my post, i always make the time to respond, because the purpose of mylot is not just posting, but having a quality discussion with other members, sharing is giving... and if you share quality post, you'll be given some extra cash... be sure to respond to you discussion. What's the point of starting a discussion if you don't reply to it.
