Filipinos in Kuwait went SAD right that moment

Hello Lotters,
Nope, it's not because of the Saudinization, because this has started only in Saudi recently and others have not follow the same rule yet. Probably it's not because it's completely hot there either since most of them are used to it and we have the same hot weather in the Philippines.
The reason was that Philippine Azkals completely Lost to Kuwait Team 3-0. At least they respect our team and didn't bad talk on them. but the info was right they were indeed strong and determined not to be defeated in their own country. though it was just a game, I know it was hard for the Philippine team.
But my own analysis about this was the players didn't do much Assist, the play was far too wide. the team was tough and definitely HOT weather.
They have a long way to go despite of their success..
One thing frustrates me though is that we only cheer our team when they try to score..
I watch the Whole and I saw how hard it was for them.

hi letran knight!
kuwait is one of the better soccer teams here in our region so them winning comes as no surprise. it just goes to show how far are we back when it comes to talent and expertise in the game of soccer.
don't want to burst anyone's bubble but the azkals are good as done for this tournament. i don't see them scoring 4 goals in the second leg of the match against kuwait to further advance in the tourney.
anyway, not sure yet if i'll still be watching the match live with these results but i hate to see those tickets go to waste. anyway, the match isn't until the 28th of the month so i still have time to think about it.

football is quite popular in the southern provinces here in the country like bacolod, davao, ilo-ilo, and zamboanga. its not as popular as boxing or basketball but it has quite a solid following.
i agree with you that it'll take a miracle for us to win the second leg. like what i wrote, its not enough for the azkals to win over the kuwait team, they should shut them out and win 4 - 0 or 5 - 0. away goals are scored differently than home goals so even if the azkals win 4 - 1 or 3 - 1, kuwait still advances through the next round in the fifa qualifiers.

At the start, it's not easy we still need practice no matter how popular it is. look at basketball, uhm. All current NBA stars and Philippine Stars, watching them today and still the Current NBA stars, still winning this game.

We never start better to begin with because no one took foot ball seriously. we still have the talent but that won't make it back against the veterans on the other team. there's another game but i hope we would be able to win but we should consider them as a obstacle. i guess beating those teams will take a miracle and better strategy. Hi! I'm really saddened because Team Philippine Azkals didn't make it for the first game. I hope our team will fight back and beat the team Kuwait. I am so proud of being a Filipino. Filipinos do excel in any field everywhere in the world. Let us not lose hope and continue to pray for the sucess of Team Azkals! :)

if you lost once, it's only a reason for the fighter to know his faults and errors to be a champion in the future....
but if you lost twice, for what i interpret, credibility or fame or title is actually lost....
but if you lost trice, that game is not for you.... meaning, that game is not for the AZKALS....

Hello ybong, Kudos for our team for doing their best. I noticed the frustration is running through them as time goes by because they couldn't try making the effort anymore after the constant strong defence of the kuwait team.
I hope they can adjust to the hot environment. in fact, they should have been rehydrating every 10 minutes..

That is so sad but I still believe in AZKALS, I think the issue about them distracted them. Oh I can see the face of my friend now who watch the game live, a very sad face but hey guys let's still cheer them. go AZKALS.

Hello andrey, Nope I doubt the issue distract but the weather did because it was too hot one of the younghusbands mentioned that it's really hot there that it's hard to breathe and that's where the kuwait team got their advantages. there's game number two anyways in our country, the philippines, hope things would go well from there

I was expecting last night that Azkals can make it.. But sadly they didn't! :(
I was watching the match between Azkals and the Sri Lanka team where the Philippine team won! :(
Maybe many were just expecting too much for the Azkals to take home the victory! There's still next time, right? They should do much better then.
I just wonder of the Azkals still have a chance to go to FIFA Championship in Brazil?!

If they can't beat Kuwait, then they don't stand a chance in the FIFA World Cup because there are Teams there that are more Powerful than the Kuwait team. they need to find a way to strategically beat the Kuwait. I know Filipinos can adopt but they need to adopt faster in terms of the country's environment. I wasn't expecting them to win, because I wasn't seeing any close assistance to players like YOUnghusband. they kept trying LONG RANGE but it doesn't work the Kuwait defence was too freaking close.

kuwait have a lot of supporters watching the game compare to azkals. of course they were in kuwait. We should not forgot the we are all new to this football game. if not because of the azkals our interest will stay on basketball and boxing. Its a good thing that most azkals members are good looking so many of us pay attention to this sports if not for sure like other sports we will ignore it. we have a lot of athletes competing in internationally who are also in need of our support. but they are all left behind.

I don't think that we should be sad about their loss against Kuwait. this is not something our country has been into for a long time. I would still support our team win or lose. I'm sure that they would still be popular because of their good looks . They may end up as local celebrities Already in case they would feel that it is hard for them to maintain their popularity as football players. I don't think that our countrymen are going gaga over this sport . We are not as crazy as other countries when it comes to how seriously we take this sport. and so losing this game won't actually disheartened a lot of supporters .

I strongly believe that the hot weather has easily weakened their strength as the kuwait team was completely good and able to handle the pressure despite of the hot weather. well, for now were not that crazy but i hope filipinos won't start trouble when ever our team looses. well, I did say it made them sad a little bit. have a nice day.

Yes it is disheartening...But at least our team played their best against a much tougher opponent. We cannot win all games. Defeats can be just a prelude to victories if Azkals learn from their mistakes, practice harder and be more disciplined and team-oriented.
Go Azkals! Make Filipinos proud!

Hello Greenpeas, I've mentioned that they can be stronger when facing the rivals in their own court. it seems they have been proven stronger than malaysia or indonesia for that matter. unfortunately I didn't see their being team oriented that much most specially when ever they have the Ball. am sure they still make us proud.

Hello syoti,
I saw one of our delegates have completely taking a sweat bath because of the hot weather. unfortunately the last battle that they had was in srilanka which was a bit cold and probably the weather less drained their energy a lot faster than before and that's why they couldn't concentrate because of the heat too. I thought of watching it because I know there isn't a few movies that i had to watch that night except the foot ball game. that's true, Azkals will always be them and shouldn't consider the loosin side, they should take it as a challenege and motivation to them. goodluck to them I hope they win this time. have a nice day.
