I was outside insulating our house as we're building our new home.
Along came this beautiful barn owl to visit... It was totally majestic.... I Stopped and watched it, it looked at me for awhile as I just stared thinking how beautiful... Then it flew off and OMG its feet were so big, I then imagined it swooping down to catch it prey... Wow what a magnificent creature....
I love Owls!
Have you seen Owls in the wild?

I have never seen the owl outside of the zoo.It usually comes out at night. Here people think of it as an ominous bird.I don't know the reason why people do it an injustice is because of its terrible cry or some folklore.

I have not seen owls anywhere outside of the zoo here. I can imagine them being huge in the wild as I have seen them on the discovery channel and they do appear to have huge feet. Guess it helps them latch on to their prey.
I do think they are pretty, as I have seen several documentaries on TV.

You can get a good look at them when their in a zoo then in the wild. Because they soon fly off..
I love documentaries. They are so interesting... You learn so much from them....

It sounds like you picked a good place to build your home! I love owls, but we don't have many here. Occasionally, you might hear one. We mostly have annoting birds...the black crows and seaguls. Im a little ways from the ocean, so I don't know why seaguls are hovering over the dumpsters where I live. (condos). Eventually, my goal is to be able to live a little more isolated from the big city. I love nature & the outdoors and can't wait to be able to move. But, times are hard, and I still dream of the future...a future with trees, stars...and of course the mighty owl! that is so awesome to see them in the wild.:)-

Lol seaguls. They are pesky birds.... Thankfully we don't have any of those around.. we also have a wedge tail eagle that flys around too sometimes...
Good luck to your future in moving to the countryside and seeing an owl in the wild for yourself.
