some good things never last

Yah it's true.If things are really meant for us, then it's for us. We have to put in mind that everything happens for a reason.

Sometimes the "Good Things" aren't really good things at all and can actually be bad. I had a relationship that I thought was great, but it ended up being extremely bad for me and I wish it had never happened. Sometimes you just need to stop and think about relationships that you have and if they are really good or not. If you don't you could end up getting hurt.

Well, in some ways this could be true, but one of the other reasons that something Good may not last in your life, is that you are not in a position to keep it. Maybe your timing is off, and your not going to benefit from it, or due to the Economy you end up loosing it. But overall, it does not always have to be this way. You can be in control of more of your life and what happens if you are learning to Trust god no matter what comes you way and ask for him to guide you thru it.

That is the nature of this universe. "Nothing lasts, but nothing is lost." All that exists is the now, so do not fear what hasn't happened, and do not regret or wish you can change the past. Yes, at first we tend to resist unwanted change, but ultimately we can never be happy unless we make that choice to accept it. If there was any good times or if we learned but one thing, then we gained from the experience. The thing about life is, we are so afraid of losing things, but we come into this life with nothing, therefore all we can do is gain. Unless we choose otherwise.

Sort of reminds us of our mortality. Nothing good or bad lasts forever.
