GOD V/S Evolution Which one you favour?

Hello zax340.......This is something that confuses me too now a days. When we where children, we did not ask any questions to our parents, we where told that God is our creator and it is our duty to pray to him and follow the rules and regulations which are written in religious books. We followed instructions of our parents and somewhere deep we know there is God and we have no courage to say it bluntly that there is no God and that the world is result of scientific theory called Evolution........BUT When it comes to today's new generation which includes our children, we don't know how to prove to them the existence of God. My children are becoming less and less religious day by day, though they say they are spiritual.For every explanation that I give them, they have ready answer which is more powerful proof, so I don't know what to say. Only God can prove his existence by doing some miracle which is visible all over the world but unfortunately he is not doing anything like that, though he does many small miracles in everyones day to day life, but that is not enough to stop the growing sinners all over the world.As long as terrorists will have power to take lives of innocent.......no body will have faith in God....because giving and taking life should be done by God and only God....and not ordinary sinners all over the world.........I hope God is planning miracle soon..........Have a nice day.

Hi zax340, GOD theory was an idea of people who were more than 1000 years older than us, for whom your cell phone will be some magical instrument and if you go in that time with your cell phone, they will worship you like god. I mean, their knowledge about this world was very limited as compared to us, so believing them on such an important topic is really silly. Then comes Mr. Darwin, that guy existed approximately 150 years before our time, I mean, the time when flying was impossible, nobody had any idea of electricity usage in household, things like computers, TV, cellphones were things that they could not even imagine. Now someone in this era did his best to come up with such a convincing though confusing theory, called Evolution theory. Again, if we believe on someone who lived in that era, it would be shame for our technological advancement. A common US citizen uses more technology than that of a scientist who lived before 1920. You may think, if we believe in Einstein, Newton and other scientists of that era why can't we believe on Darwin. The answer is "facts". If you go through facts, you will come to know that the theories, principles, laws that those scientists proposed are true in all the circumstances and that is why we still follow those theories, however, Darwin had given a contradictory theory with very less evidence. I will give you an idea: 1. We have evolved from Monkeys and our growth is proportional to the time that we have spent on earth. Que: Okay, then why do we have a pyramid in Egypt which is 'expected' to be built 6500 years before but still we don't know why it was built? Search on Internet, you will come to know that mummies were not found in the main three pyramids and those three pyramids are built with mind boggling extra ordinary scientifically advanced tools and history says first wheel was invented approximately 5700 years before. I mean, 1200 later of pyramids. 2. Computers are designed developed only after 1950, how come, we have found a computer in sea which is expected to be 2000 years old? (Even HP lab has worked on that computer to find out the exact technology that was used) There are so many such proofs available on earth that you should know so that you can think and decide what was your real origin and what is the truth of your life. I know you may have so many things to do in your life but if you spend at least 30 mins to know about your origin, I hope that will be worth. If god created human then who created god? It strikes me so i believe in evolution. the best Darwin theory. By the way i am an atheist too. lol have a nice time.

What can be the answer for apsara60 in response for the first post in this topic? If we are allowed to beat around the bush, its easy to jump into conclusion that nature did it. But that will be so wrong because another question will arise, 'what is nature, and who created it? Here we have only one answer remaining- unseen forces or whatever you call it that controls our life (God). Come back to history and evolution as a whole, our search for truth goes back to a point when humans started to keep records (facts) but we have no idea how everything on Earth started... This leads us to carbon dating as the only way out. I have a question here, how sure and accurate this method is in dating? The best answer for this rest in 'maybe' but nothing to prove the accuracy of the same. Darwin is right, evolution is there.. but this is all as a result of God that evolution took over in implementing God's purpose for life... ...life, is the base of any theory...

There is no contradiction. It is not creation or evolution. It is creation by evolution. Evolution is the method used by God, or the Source to create everything. And that is not just life, but the entire Universe evolves, and has been doing so ever since cosmic inception, about 13.7 billion years ago. All of this cosmic evolution, as well as biological evolution has occurred and continues to occur, by design.
