Discussions on myLot

Hi and welcome to myLot Dymo 1. There is a difference between responses and comments. Like here where I am placing my response, it then becomes a comment if you and or someone comments in my same box. Do know that the only person who earns (gets rewarded) is the person who typed. So any discussion starter who does not comment to the responses does not earn, if he/she does not type/comment back. 2. I am one who barely ever makes short type of responses and or comments as I am one to enter discussions with quality in mind. myLot is a quality discussion site and as you can see from the boxes when applying text, it does say be as descriptive as possible. Do know that one-liners will earn next to nothing. 3. As for having lots to say, I again am one to enter with lots to say as I do want to be as useful and helpful as I can. I rarely have short responses. I do enjoy a variety of discussions here and as you can see from my participation that I enter a variety of discussions as my participation is for a full 10 months of activity here. I do tend to enter people, life and day to day issues topics more commonly. I do have a lot of life experience where I feel I can help others as well as learn something too. There is nothing I want to argue about here in myLot. My time here is utilized to make friends, enjoy topics of interest, assisting in providing useful information and I do value my membership here. I hope you too will enjoy your stay here on myLot!

1. Discussion are poured in immediately to encourage the person posting the discussion. Only good topics will have more postings. Otherwise it will stop with 3 or 4. reward alone cannot get more responses. 2. I have also noticed that discussions are fairly long in mylot. Invariably i try to restrict it to maximum 10 lines. 3. same as above 4. discussions are lively and some times based on here and now situations -- experience of people then and there. Mylot- we do not argue--but share our ideas. good day.

Hi Dymo and welcome to myLot As you've already noticed, this is not like "other forums." This is a discussion site. The point is to engage in active, interesting and quality conversations. That can only be accomplished by back and forth activity, like you've already noticed. It's not a question and answer site. There is no "right or wrong" answer to a discussion... there are thoughts, opinions, perspectives. We share what we think, what we believe, what matters to us. We give and receive objective opinions and lots of people get help here to sort through the things that weigh on their minds. It's a shame that you say you "can't be bothered" to read longer discussions. You may change, as you participate, but if you aren't prepared to read, you're really not going to get the full benefit of what happens here. You're right that discussions are penetrative... it's quite amazing how people will share. I hope you will invest some time and see what myLot is really like, in comparison to other forums you've frequented. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Best of luck to you

We have to make a good discussion, topic oriented, reduce the spam. Quality is our duty.

Hi, Dymo75! MyLotters before me have said almost everything but I want to tell you welcome. As you see this is a place where you can discuss your ideas and feelings. One of the things that get a good assessment - when you start a discussion - is your comments to the posts in it. When people are online at the same time they can make a good conversation. But you can post your comments to the replies later, even the next day. I hope that you adapt easy to this place and will enjoy it. Good luck!

There are 230000 members on mylot.If reward was the case then there could have been atleast 10000 responses to a discussion but there are only 20 or 30. The topics here touch heart that is why the responses are lenghty.only technical topics have 1 line responses and this type of topics are less in mylot.

Welcome you to this sharing ideas community. Happy to hear that you enjoy posting in here. I had been a member in here for a few years but inactive for nearly 2 years due to my offline matters. But, although i am inactive, i do visit here frequently whenever i am free, to read and share my ideas. I like sharing ideas, as it is a form of gaining more knowledge in return. Even the process of earning in here is, the more you type the more you will earn in return.

Hello Dymo75, 1.Its not necessary that all discussions have high responses there are discussions which don't have responses at all.Check from the TAB - no response then you will come to know. 2.MYLOT says try to be more descriptive while starting discussion or giving response.Its not a problem for me if its long i love to read longer ones. 3.They should be long.Quality does not mean a long response. A short response or comment also can be of good quality. 4.Discussions should be penetrative.People discuss their experience,about relations,life which i personally like it.Its not a problem.

Hi , well i have nothing argue but i would like to add something for sure. 1st - Comments , it basically shows the views of the reader and you may get a different prospective to think about your discussion topic. 2nd - they are long because people around here feel like to share there thoughts and knowing or unknowing you touch their favorite subject and eventually it also ends up with long comments and last but not the least my lots gives you a platform to share you own thoughts which shows a real you,what you actually think and how you think and you never know you may be helping somebody somewhere. Well before this comment gets lengthy i will end up here. And to be frank I really like your topic thanks for the opportunity to gave Good day !!!

hello, like you im just new here ive been here for 5 days i guess...and yes still learning about this mylot who my friend refer me here because i could earn out money in here while posting... you know i dont have any talent at writing or im a type of person who do not like to comment back or make discussion to my friends unless if i really need to but when i sign up here will i guess i can do all of that... ahaha!!!
