Hate me or love me...

We have the same thought..... I apply the same thing as well. But I put it on 100, 50 still hard to believe they will stay longer in Mylot.I will not accept friend request from those who send it while they just have less than 10 posts and never comment or have a conversation with me. This is just apply to newbies but if they really a good mylotters I am sure we will see their faces more and more and only then I know I should accept their request. There is one more thing which is she/he should be the one who likes to start a discussions so I can answer and give my comments to her/him.(^^)

looks like i m feeling lucky cause i ve been your friend before 50 post,personally i don't do any referral cause its not about earning money its about having nice topics to participate.

I rarely send friend requests but when I do its because I see them around a lot and really enjoy the things they write. I get plenty of friend requests and if they have over 100 as their score I approve them. I love seeing some of the discussions that people come up with. I love when people are active as well.

Interesting. That's all i can say..because it got me thinking on what i do with friend requests... lol. i just accept them right away

That's alright, everyone has the right to impose their own qualifications, anyways it's you who will accept, sometimes i do that, i chose friends with many post believing they are well experienced here in mylot and may serve as my leader.And I think I haven't added any yet upto this time. :)...

Hi Toni! Thanks God! I qualified your parameters and am in your list of friends …….. Your scales for accepting new friends are in order. I fully agree with you that those who are here temporarily and are not going to be a regular member, there is no use of adding them. I on my part, do not add those who have less than 100 posts. I only add those who have similar interests like me. I think many users have a misconception that more friends they have, more responses they will get, which is not true. A long list of friends does not assure large number of responses. If I find a user’s discussion interesting and I feel that I can connect with him/her, I do not mind sending him/her a request for add. I periodically review my list of friends and those who are not regular and do not appear in my discussions, or if I do not participate in a friends' discussion for a long time,I delete them . I do not want to keep the list long for the sake of it.

hi tonignzon well gee I probably would not fit in your list at all b ut since I have over a thousand friends in my friends list here and cannot even begin to respond to all my friends notifications it does not matter that I am sure you would not accept me as your friend as my brain waves probably do not even begin to coincide with yours and besides you are too young and I am too old. lol lol lol So I am not asking to be your friend which is fine with both of us. Your criterion will be sure to weed out all us old or young fogys and get you young college people woo hoo.besides I have 42 thousand some posts and have been here for four years.

i should start filtering these invites too... but then... what about the newbies who really just want to have friends...? so torn between decisions... oh... help...

Hi Toni, fifty posts is very little because one can write quietly thirty ones a day. Then increase the amount. Let them make a bigger effort. lol.

Hey it's your prerogative to chose who you like and how you chose them. If that's what you want to do then as long as you aren't being rude I don't see a problem with it.

I don't even know what the refferal thing is! Quite frankly i don't even understand a lot of this mylot stuff! I don't go out hitting up everyones friend request button but I do add if you've commented and I like what you said so I can go back later and read more Stuff from you. when I write on here i just post things that pop into my head and I'd like to hear what other people say. I only comment if I have more than a few words to say and I feel like they need being said. I'm below your qualifications but maybe when the time comes I can remember to check you out again and possibly friend you.

Hi toniganzon. Good that you are setting some qualification for accepting friend invites. I think those people who really wanted you to become one of their friends would really do their best and make some effort to post a lot and be more active here in mylot. Personally, I do not set any qualification at all for accepting friend request. Just as long as they want me to be on their friends list, from my heart, I really value it. When I received a friend request, I felt a feeling of happiness and joy knowing that I am just a simple and ordinary person who also once became a newbie and I can feel their eagerness to have some friends to communicate with and for them to ask some help. Usually, when I add those who are with 0 or 1 post, they would message me and thank me because I added them and then they would also ask some questions which is really understandable because they are new. It is then a great privilege for me to be able to help them and answer all their questions which is really priceless, especially if you could really help them in solving their problems and then they would thank you and wholeheartedly express their gratitude and appreciation. I cannot explain the feeling but I am really blessed to be able to help them even in a small simple ways. Take care and happy mylotting!

Hello Toni, More than fifty post (50) qualification? you're being nice Believe me, you're showing a heart that's for sure. you know why? I never told any one else before today but I never accept users that has less than one hundred or two hundred post (100 or 200) post, unless they are my referrals. I don't want myself to distance from friends like you. though others might feel it's discrimination or something related to that I believe it's another way for us to see who is active and good in this site.

Well, good for you Toni. Actually, i have a soft heart when it comes to the newbies. When they ask me to be their friend, it breaks my heart to deny them. They are newbies and they need some friends that could more or less perhaps be their respondents on their future discussion. So, there i approve them, specially if i see that they are fellow kababayans.

Haha, well I think we have the same interest. Most of your posts are about relationships, love, beauty or almost anything. I enjoy your discussions. I don't have qualifications in adding a friend here in Mylot. And in case someone will add me just for referral purposes. I'm sorry but I'm not active on those stuff. I just enjoy it here in Mylot cause the discussions are really good and I learn a lot.
