I was searching for Spiderman photos when I came across this photo (picture inserted). The new spidey guy and the new one. People are starting to make comparisons already on who will portray the better spiderman.
Andrew Garfield, the new spiderman will launched his new spiderman movie by next year 2012. And Tobey Maguire on the other hand, well, we all know he made three movies so he must have portray well.
I have a lot of expecations in this new Spiderman film since it'll be on 3D and Andrew Garfield is cute.
To compare their looks, I kind of like the new one because in the comic book stories, Peter Parker has always been bullied at school and Andrew Garfield somehow has brought on that "i-am-bullied-in-school" look. Yet Tobey Maguire brings on t he nerdy look.
Anyway, I am just excited for the movie next year.

I think that Tobey Maguire played an awesome Spider-Man, but I think that Andrew Garfield can play the character too, just as well as Tobey Maguire can. Is he Tobey Maguire? No, but that doesn't mean that he can't play Spider-Man. I have seen Andrew Garfield in "The Social Network", and I thought that he did an amazing job in that film. Now, this is funny because he isn't American, but he is playing an American character, but he could really fool me because he sounds American.
Well, Peter Parker is those two things, he is a nerd, but he was also bullied in school. He does come off more as the "I am bullied in school" kind of guy, but you can still see the nerdiness in him.

True. He's not american yet portrays one. LOL. I am just excited because there were already pictures on the net.
I haven't seen Social Network. I don't know why but still chooses not to see it though. LOL. And he's cute.

You should see "The Social Network" just for kicks. You will get a pretty good idea of what kind of actor Andrew Garfield is.
What I was told at several of the comic conventions is that Marvel wanted something traditional, yet slightly different this time with "The Amazing Spider-Man". They wanted to to be a lot like the "Ultimate Spider-Man" comic books, but it came out more like the 616 comics rather than the "Ultimates" universe (for those of you who didn't know this already, but should know this, "616" stands for the main Marvel Comic Universe which is "Amazing Spider-Man" or the classic comics).
From what I have seen of the trailers for the film, it looks like it might actually be better than the first three films because they are sticking to the story.

It’s difficult to compare with out a finished product to compare against. But in a way that’s not going to matter because it’s going to be a generational thing. What I mean is that those who enjoyed Tobey Maguire as Spider Man are probably not going to enjoy Andrew Garfield as Spider Man. But then those who are new to Spider Man will say Garfield is better. It always happens when you have a new version of an older movie or character with those saying the newer one is automatically better, often without ever having seen the original.

It's hard to pass judgement not until you see the actual movie. For me, Tobey don't really fit to be the spiderman since I was hoping to see someone whose more mascular, more good looking but it turned out that tobey did a very good job, doing all three of the series. It's the same with the new guy, I can only compare him with tobey once I see the movie since it's really hard to judge an actor by his looks alone, in fact looks is the last to be used as basis to gauge the versatility of an actor because in Hollywood everyone good looking. But one thing is certain, the movie is going to break records again.

I guess you're also looking forward to see this movie like I do.
True. Looks alone should never be he basis. And yes, I was quite disappointed before when Tobey was casted as Spiderman because I was more of expecting a muscular one compared to this built but then he proved me wrong in his movies. He did well.

Hi! i am not fond of Spiderman movies, i only watched two before because my daughter was still a child and shw ants to watch that movie. I think Tobey Maguire has portrayed his part very well and he is also fit to the character. He also acts naturally that fiction becomes real inside the moviehouse. Well, i think movie directors or producers or whoever chose the new Spiderman has selected him carefully. Lets just watch out for it.

I'm not really interested about the face under the spiderman mask. What attracts people to the movie is the spiderman in the suit with all those actions, plots, while not many people bother about the man in the suit. There's no difference if it's Tobey or Garfield nabbing the role because they are not the reason for me to watch the movie.
