Hi guys, I am a newbie and have been here four days today. I just want to ask if why after my 100th posts, the comments I get for my discussions aren't counting anymore? The only ones added to my posts are the ones I give to others. i shouldve made 120+posts by this time but mine still says 107... after 100 its stopped moving and the only time it changed is when I make omments to others. I hope Im making a mistake. If my account faces a problem, all my drive would really go down... please someone help me. I sent the admin a message already and I am waiting four eyes for the answer.

The number beside your username is NOT a post count and does not include all of your activity. It is not connected to your earnings either. It is called your user rating and only increases when you: - start a new topic after it receives 2 responses (or 1 response + 1 comment) - respond for the first time on a discussion started by others - comment for the first time on a discussion started by others. It decreases when you lose posts due to deleltions. ALL of your activity contributes towards your earnings but NOT to that number. You would be wise to read what myLot say about it here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq11.aspx

Wow...thanks...but what confuses me is the earnings, not on the rating...

Earnings are based on quality, not on your number of posts. There is no fixed rate for anything here. MyLot is a discussion site not a paid-.to-post site and therefore we earn when we are discussing, adding quality comments and furthering the topic and we only earn for our own activity, not that of others. Welcome to myLot

I am also confused with their point system here. I am also a newbie here and as I can observe, I think they don't give much points to comments from other discussions started but we get bigger points whenever our own discussions are commented by others. But I am not sure though. this is just my theory. will you be so kind to share to me what is the reply of the admin after you sent them a message? I would appreciate that. Thanks (^_^)

hi pbbbsra where do you new p eople get the idea that responses (what you mistakenly call comments) by us other mylotters pays you? We made them we typed them and we get the earnings, the only way to make good earnings on your discussion is to comment back on our responses. You type and post you get paid. remember this and you will start commenting back on the responses you get and you will earn nicely. You comment back and you respond to others you did the work so you get the pay. nobody gets paid for another mylotter's work. when you work onff line do you get paid for your coworkers work? of course not ;same thing here if you want your discussions to earn you money you have to work and make comments back to us your responders.simple really.the responses you get never have and never will pay you so remember that you must comment and respond yuorself to get paid.you work you get paid .we work we get paid.

If you started a topic and you reply back to those answers posted on your own discussion, you don't add points to it which means Mylot does only consider points when you participate to response back to other members' discussion, and not your own.

What do you mean? I don't think the comments you received from others can be counted as yours?? The number beside on your username is your number of post.. Also, sometimes some of your post are not added because you posted on the same discussion many times..
