Hello LOtters,
To be honest, I really didn't wanna hear it because I got so many tings to do like Mylotting and taking care of my pets. but my Desktop has now moved to the Living room, near the television. therefore, I got no choice but to watch it. knowing that my moms gonna watch it to keep herself from her boredom.
As usual, the language was tagalog. My feelings were mixed and I feel that the achievement is just too little compare to the larger scale of the problems. but what's to expect, he only needs to make his SONA good for every one. but after a few hours, i got really pissed with listening to his SONA and went at the back and wait until it's over.
I don't know, I didn't like hearing it. but that's his report though.
Comment you later, what do you think and feel about the SONA?

Hello Jaihosis,
Oh, that must be frustration when it comes to having one hell of black out for hours, must be some maintenance or something. am not sure what you're reaction will be saying when you watch the SONA happening. I didn't last in hearing though. am not sure but i guess there's nothing wrong watching it

I think better to listen being part of Filipino, we must know whatever message he convey for us, although we know some are only reporting and promising but we are part of his government, whether or not we need to take it. Now what we are have is our comment and dis-agreement with his SONA and observe it..

Hello visavis,
I wonder, didn't even heard his side solution on the OFW's. It's just a report for me, but I didn't like the way he present his state of the nation address. though I have seen some improvements, like what I said we have a long road ahead of us. Besides, the reason that i have mentioned, I got no clue as to why I hated the second SONA

i listened very well to the report of the president. it's not a must hear for us filipinos and even for us government employees but i did. i listened carefully because i want to see know pnoy will promise once for to the people. i cannot forget pnoy told to give better living for the police and other members of the fire and the jail management and i am nothing against it. but i am still disappointed that nothing has mentioned about the other forces of the government, for their better living. i wanted to hear about pnoy talking about something the employees, especially the lower in rank that they have something to hold, that in the near future, we will be walking and talking to people with head raised. that we can tell the whole world without shame that we are public servants, state workers, even if we hold the lowest rank of the bureaucracy. higher oil prices, fares, basic commodities, rent, electricity, everything is rising, but the employees salary is left behind, which makes living very difficult to handle these days. i am sure you know, that in the states, as i heard it from a niece, government workers receive better salaries than employees in the private sectors.

@LK: it was said that corruption is being targeted by the president and corruption is also present in the PNP. it could be thought that this housing promise is one way to stop corruption in the police service. but i don't think it will be removed totally. but why the PNP and the MILITARY? could be that he, the president wants to make sure of his seat in the office is safe and they would not think of a coup de etat for an example. but why again, don't they think that the STATE WORKERS also have powers to stop the operation of the government offices and could also put him down of office? if only the STATE WORKERS will bind together, that could happen.

Hello Neildc,
I wonder why the cops were given houses alone when most of the are not doing good with their record in terms of doing their job as cops. I think it will be a long way to provide increase salaries and other benefits of the government. if they can't do this on government agencies in the NCR or Luzon? how much more if it's on the other islands? corruption is the worse thing in the government I believed. Have a nice day.

I was busy so I didn't hear the SONA of our president. But this brief explanation is enough for me though. He haven't done anything so far that most people are dissatisfied with the results. Majority of the people say that he is blind and deaf. So far there isn't something he has done that improved the country.

I did not have a bit of excitement to watch the SONA. I don't know why. I don't really like GMA but every time she will deliver her SONA I would listen. Actually I just wanted to see her attire and her hairdo and how she carries herself. (I really am a woman who loves fashion_)
With P-Noy I found not much excitement. He is not a good speaker actually. The way he delivers speech does not sound as good as other statesmen. Should I say, he sounds boring to me? Honestly, I don't like the way he delivers speech. It is just like listening to ERAP. More talkings but not much achievements! I also hate hearing criticisms on SONA. While I don't like GMA and I hate all the corruptions under her regime. I don't think criticizing the former President in the SONA is proper. So to avoid getting disappointed or irritated I better not listen to him at all. I don't think his report will make a big difference in my life.
I have not even heard any news about the contents of his SONA actually. Maybe later when I watch the news I can hear some feedback. But honestly I don't really give time when it comes to listening to Noynoy's speech. He sounds PeNoy and not P-noy when he does. He is the exact opposite of his Dad. The late Ninoy Aquino is a very good good speaker. I have listened to some of his speeches many times but every time I do, he never fails to magnetize me. When he start talking I'd really put down anything to sit down and listen. Kris Aquino has this same kind of eloquence. It is just that her moral reputation turns me off. Oh well, I'm getting too deep and already out of context. Sorry...

Hello Salonga,
He shouldn't have spoke a bit fast when it comes to giving a report about the people. but clearly he was speaking in tagalog directly to the people. but probably I was not known or gotten used to hearing too much tagalog from him. I believe Ninoy was just a good speaker and I neverheard any plans for him in terms of making a good progress on our country only against opposition to marcos

hi!
I did not watch the sona.. since Monday is my off day, I used the time to check with my dermatologist. Then we went to our relatives since we can go there very few times only. None of us is interested with sona anyway. I'm not a political person, but for me, our president is just a good speaker. That's all. His looks really make me mad, the way he smiles like he is a sarcastic man.. I don't know if you guys noticed this or it's just me but that's what I think about him.
Anyways, happy day!

By the way, what I meant with good speaker is the way he talks is like.. I can't explain.. but like a programmed thing..? He always has the same tone which makes me think he's not really honest with what he's saying but just says what's in the paper..

Hello bhabycatch, No, it's perfectly alright because it is something that might make you boring and frustrate you in the end though since you've been having some problems too and this SONA isn't what you wanna hear. have a nice day.

Hi!
I wanted to listen to the SONA but I was distracted with a lot of things this afternoon and I did not know what time the SONA was aired. I had the means to watch it because even though I was at work, there's a television in the other department. I could have watched in via live streaming in the internet but the internet connection at the office was so slow.......
But as far as what I can see today, I cannot feel any changes since Noynoy became the president. And I am really surprised because a lot of Filipino still believes the president as I see the polls in yahoo all in favor of Noynoy. And I thought, maybe I'm being too pessimistic and too critical of the new administration? But no, whenever I think how he chose his cabinet members and other appointed positions, my doubt on him escalates. Whenever I read news about the Luisita hacienda, the more I disbelieve the president. It just seems that whatever he says is contrary to what he is doing and what is happening.
Anyway, just like one response here said, we can't do nothing but support the administration until his term ends.
Cheers.

Hello SecretBear,
Each and every single individual have their own opinions even though the speech and only to some people who benefit his administration have actually say that the speech is satisfactory. some major issues still hasn't been answered lately probably the solution will be onwards for the third SONA. I am not sure what support I should give to this government since we have already created a commercial space for four entrepreneurs to start their business with. have a nice day.

I had no choice too but to listen to the SONA, the kids were dismissed early today so they would listen to SONA but the teacher would ask them questions or maybe give a quiz about it tomorrow, my 9 year old daughter already keeps asking me a lot of questions especially because it was delivered in formal Tagalog or Pilipino for the first time ( previous SONAs were all in English and formal Pilipino is different from everyday conversation)
In a way I think every Filipino should watch the SONA no mater how ....to know how the executive views it's achievements and we compare it with our real state based on our personal perception, I would not want to be caught in a conversation as too it's contents and not be able to share my view, I just love to share what I think especially about Philippine politics

Hello Louie,
So, you had no choice but to watch it because It was you're daughter's assignment. well, to be honest life has been a bit boring over the last few days though so probably I just couldn't help myself but watch the whole sona, but i didn't understand why I did not appreciate the whole context. I went out after hearing the half of it. Have a nice day.

I never got the chance to hear Pnoy's SONA. I am at work and really had no clue on what he has to say about his accomplishments. I'm not really a fan of listening to such speeches as I only do when I need to produce a reaction paper regarding that. I feel that SONA is only one of those venues for political interest, and being very uncaring about politics as I am, I really don't look forward to such events. So what do I feel about it. Nothing really, I need to see concrete actions and not words. Those reports are part of the national interest, but I am more interested in getting the feeling that my taxes are well spent and getting to see that the quality of life of every Filipino are being alleviated.

Hello Agent_Gulaman,
You can check those links and probably there are some video links in youtube about this. there was some one from the fanpage in fb about the links of his SONA. it was very clear that they were some progress but not that good or something that could spike change into the country but there are some progress. unfortunately, I didn't like what i heard. Have a nice day
