Sweet Meows

I came across with these two cats yesterday while I was on my way to work. They were just sleeping sound. I think they are siblings. When I went nearer to where they are sleeping. One woke up, the one at the back, with an asking look in her eyes that says, "who are you?".
I reached for the one that's near to me when he woke up and stared at me like saying, "touch me and i'll scratch you look" but I continued anyway and ended up patting his head. The other cat, the one at the back, realized that I mean no harm to them stood and came near me. And I patter her head as well.
Cats are really sweet. Though ones that aren't tamed yet will try to scratch you but once they will realize you mean no harm to them - I think they will put their guard down and befriend you.

I do agree... I had found this little baby kitten one time and took it home because I couldn't find any other siblings or its momma for a few hours.. it was soo skinny and little that it had to be bottle fed... it slept with me and nights and was a great little friend... it grew up very nicely

Yeah, I have three of them, well, I used to have four, and I know how cute and sweet they can be. Cats are like people, they have different and unique personalities. Many of them can be nice and sweet, depending on how they are treated, but there are also some that can be mean or bitter because they have been mistreated or they lived a harsh life.
My last cat is an example of this. He is very sweet-natured and he is very relaxed, and playful, and very friendly with humans, but his siblings were not this way. He wanted to be adopted and he wanted a home, but his brother and two sisters didn't want to be adopted and they didn't want a home. My mother and I felt bad for other three cats, but it's what they choose. My cat Lucky wanted a home, food, toys, and a cozy place to stay, and his siblings didn't want that.

I know some friends of mine who do love cats also as you do. I can't relate to them though because I have never really liked cats. But I would agree would you that they could be really sweet because pets do have ways of showing their sweetness to those who shows the same to them. Sweetness begets sweetness is it not?

True. All animals have a unique way of showing their pet owners how much they love them and the love that we give to them are also given back in returned. One of the reasons why you look forward in coming home because you want to see them.

totally undecided,
It is interesting to know that you love cats and you breed them as pet. That is okay. However, I want to tell you that cats are sometimes considered an evil animal in africa. Most african see cats as a messenger of witches or witchcraft. There is this belief that if a cat start crying in the night near your neighbourhood it symbolizes evil.

Cats are by far my favorite animal ever, and they go through their phases likes kids. Right now I have a cat that we got when she was very very young. She is probably about two years old now and is going through the phase of hissing at everyone and wanting to claw out everyone around her. It is very interesting to see such the relation with a cat to human beings, because they're just like having kids. They eat all your food, lay around do nothing, and when you try to hang out with them, it's always a hit or miss, and right now my pubescent two year old cat is like dealing with a teenage girl lol But I love me cats, they're very sweet animals when you show them you are there to help them, and they do the same back.

Hello funboyrule, they are very sweet animals indeed. THough I have known my cats for months to a year, they are still small and then these cats are really something that is considered good fury pets but not as loyal and attention seeker like dogs. my cats usually asked for my attention, but when it comes after eating, they will just mind their business. the good cats would not let me touch them, they are indeed good something to go to.have a nice day

those two look like whiter versions of my Rygel (the big cat in my avatar)
actually, if the cat is feral, you won't be able to really get close to them, I've had 3 cats in the house since they were 6 weeks old and we can't lay a finger on any of them...
we have 3 others who are semi-feral and those we can touch, sometimes, when they let us...
not like the rest of the cats who will wake us up to get pets!

Believe me those cats were already tame, if they had not been you would never have been able to get near them. Stray cats or cats that have been cast off for any lenght of time are very wild and will only come near for food sometimes.

Hello Totally Pretty, I am a cat lover. unfortunately there are cats that has a lot more fear with the humans that they will hiss if you go near them. Usually the ones with colors or the black ones that can get scared with humans, the yellow ones are the usual who rans like hell when ever we approach them. there is this one three colored cat that i like to pet with when ever i approach her. cats are good but they usually mind their own business, like my own cats. Have a Nice day.

Hiya TD,
Cats are very knowing animals and will only go to you if they see that they can trust you. Well at least that is the way its always been for me.
I have had more Dogs as pets than Cats but the one Cat we did have was always following me around and no one else but me.
Of course he was never mine but nontheless there he was always saying hello to me. He did not bother with anyone else at all.xxx

Oh yes, cats are really sweet and affectionate i should say. They would rub their body agaunst your legs and sleep on your lap. They are like dogs. The only thing i dont like in cats is there waste is so smelly and they, they are also noisy during their mating season. They also become pregnant so often.

I agree. Cats are such sweet animals that they might appear fierce but at the same time they are able to read us humans. However it's more for adult or teenager cats, they would allow us to touch and pat them. I love kittens and they are always out of my reach, forever running away from me when i want to play with them.

Yes, you're right. That's why I love cats.
They are naturally sweet and affectionate. We have five cats in the house.
They are all sweet and very affectionate though some of them are
too shy even at their owners.
