Before I am not interested in cooking, I tried to cook without much instructions and my food got a lot of comments. Then, during my studies we have a subject about food preparations since then I learned to cook by following recipes and even experimenting with recipes. If you love to cook what is your favorite dish that is quite difficult to do but you can cook perfectly...

Hi girl!
I am not a good cook as well before, after even today!LOL
I don't have favorite dish because every dish will be a disaster when I cook it first time and I slowly get the right way to cook them then. But I really need to mention it then I go with baking as I love baking more than regular cook. My favorite maybe muffins and pancakes because I can get them ready in just a few minutes. Simple dish is the favorite for everyone because they don't have to spend more time preparing it.How about you? What is your favorite dish then?(^^)

I think I love to cook something like dumplings or dimsums or spring rolls. I also love to cook spaghetti with white sauce. That is what I found difficult to do baking! Hope I could learn that too!

I make some dumplings before and it's not just easy but have nice taste too~ I am going to have pasta today with plain tomato sauce- I would prefer the red sauce than the one.LOL I get some tips from other mylotter to put more salt when you cook your pasta as it won't make your pasta tastes salty but deliciously yummy!!!(^^)
Baking is easy for me as they just go with the same ingredients and the only one thing we need to get right is the measurement. The same procedure and the same technique for sure. Bake with the oven!(^^)

I love to cook and bake. I think it is fun. Our family has a few dishes that they love, for me to cook. I can cook homemade Chinese food. I usually make some fried rice, orange chicken, and beef and broccoli. I also make ground beef, with barbecue sauce, with corn. I place that on biscuits, and sprinkle cheese on top. I bake it for 15 minutes. These are winners.

Hi there Averygirl72,
Since I was a kid, my passion to cook was already in my heart. As I was the eldest among the four so I need to be aware how to cook simple food preparation.
But, during my high school days, I was not given a chance to lead our section in terms of cooking, as my teacher has some favoritism in our class.
However, though my high school deprived me the opportunity to cooked inside the class, I still continue the passion. And now, I am starting to apply that passion into a reality. And so my cooking experience somehow become a cooking expertise.
Among the foods that I love to cooked are caldereta, sinigang, tinola and a lot more.

I can cook almost everything especially filipino dishes that you mentioned. Because of that school subject I can now cook all by myself, no need to help me. I dream of owning a restaurant someday. I even collect a lot of recipe books but tried only a few.

I make an awesome vegetarian lasagna! Practice makes perfect with cooking so keep at it! When I was learning to cook I caught toast in the oven on fire. Literally, flames coming out of toast! I was horrified. Now I know to set my timer as a reminder!

Hi, there..
Good for you, you started cooking already.. I haven't started to cook a dish yet aside from frying and I'm always hoping to be able to know just one recipe to start. If I would have a time, I'll sure I'll practice cooking it till I make it perfect. But, the problem is, I don't know what dish I should start. :(
I'm happy for you, really. Keep it up! :)
Happy mylotting.. :)

I also never was interested in cooking until I realized how important it is to learn it and thought why won't I grab the advantage of asking my mother to teach me (since she worked for 12 years at the kitchen of a five-star hotel and resort). She worked at the pastry and so good at baking. I have learned to make cakes with all the icing and the frosting and quite mastered piping. Later I will really need help because I am dying to learn dressing these cakes with fondant. Other main course are easy. But I love baking and my favorite is making some cute little cupcakes.

I love to cook and the most I enjoy is baking... I like to make pie and I make my own dough, I also make profiterol and it is not easy to make, but I learned it from a very good wedsite and everone loves it now. I also didnt like to cook before, but after marriage I changed. Also, it is an advantage if you have a big and lovely kitchen with all the things you want. And of course a supportive husband to whom I cook for everyday.

before i dont know how to cook but my family love to cook so when i was young i always observe my mother while cooking and prepare our meals so even through observation you could learn like i did. so one time when my mom cannot cook she ask me to cook because before if i am left here at home i just cook for myself so by that i learn, so i can guess until now everytime i cook my number fan is my MOM. today when i woke up im the one who cook our breakfast...LOL
