What is a perfect relatioship?

There is no such thing that is perfect in this world, the same way that there is no perfect relationship. Everything has its flaws, however, there are happy relationships beyond the imperfections because they choose to overcome such obstacles by accepting each other wholeheartedly, their positive as well as the negative sides. But of course, even with acceptance, a relationship that works involve the effort to adjust each other's shortcomings in order to make up for a fruitful and happy relationship. In that manner, in every frown, a smile will turn afterwards.

No relationship is ever perfect. On the second thought, it really depends on the satisfaction level of the couple. If the two people are happy with each other and are able to solve arising problems with comfort then we have to assume that they are in a perfect relationship. We are just humans. We make mistakes. So sometimes we tend to raise in relationships. That is how, we take away perfection from them. But once I read that a perfect relationship have three elements and they are love, friendship and drive to keep going.

I don't think there can be such a thing as a perfect relationship. We all have our strengths and our weaknesses. We have our good points and our flaws. If we had a perfect relationship, where could it go that what benefit the relationship and each other?

Hi katie: Even if humans are not perfect and because of that, is a big mistake to talk about a 'perfect' relationship. I would say that the best relationship one can get is the one where you and your partner have a good communication, second, you share interests and third and what's most important, you are working hard to make this relationship work out. hello, Okay, So, seriously I am in a relationship and I can say that I am now in a perfect relationship. So, what do I mean? for me it means I am happy and contented in my relationship now and I am not looking for something because I was just happy and that's all I can say. I dont know what other people means.

Although perfection is a target to be achieved through journey of efforts, and this journey never ends, so perfection is never achieved. That is the theoretical aspect of perfection. Sense of perfection in a relationship means total harmony between the two. People say it is un-achievable but I have seen it in practice. In India, most of the marriages are arranged, and the two remain unfamiliar to each other up to the honeymoon night when they meet for the first time. Under this tradition, two have no preconceived notion about what should his/her spouse should be. So whatever they find, they try to adjust with. I won't say that all succeed in this adjustment, but surely some succeed in achieving a perfect harmony with the partner. In a relationship, problems arise in physical interactions. Hence in a platonic relationship having no physical dimension emotional harmony is easily achieved. Here again there is the perfection in the relationship.

hi katieO I think with my own it was being supportive of each other whether in small things like disciplining your children or big things like illness or cancer or any other catastrophe needing both persons to support each other. we were best friends and lovers and we liked and loved each other. so to me when people say a perfect relationship they mean two people who support and care for each other and stick up for each other. two people who meant their marriage vows.read them and realize that s how a perfect marriage should work. in sickness and in health, through good times and bad times, as long as we both shall live. I might not have the words perfect but hope you get the gist of what I mean.
