What is mean "have a job"?

Having a job means the same to everyone, don't worry, you're not crazy

To earn an additional income so my husband and I can play. He makes good money. So I have something to spend. Actually, we pool our money into one account. We pay our bills and then we play. It's nice to know we have a little extra for things we enjoy doing. Of course, being happy at my job is a must. It is no fun working if you don't enjoy your job. Best Wishes!

There are many things that it could mean. Some people have a job and they get paid for their work. Some other people have a job and that means they have duties and responsibilities but they do not earn any wages for it, like a stay at home mom or nanny.

When I hear "have a job", it is that a person is doing something that perhaps they do not anticipate doing for long term, but will do for now. When I hear "I have a career", it means to me that a person is doing exactly what they set out to do and are really enjoying it.

It is a simple concept for me ."Have a job "means "i can work for a sustainable time and get paid for my work ."Although the depression is gone in my country ,it is still hard for me to find a good job .So i decide to have a further study .On one hand ,i can wait till the job market turns prosperous.On the other hand ,it seems easier for one to find a satisfactory job with a master degree .

To me, "have a job" means having an income in order to survive. If I have no job, I don't think I'll be able to survive as I need to eat and I can't eat if I don't have money.

There are many meaning of having a job. This is not only a mean for this tat working in a big company. Having a job also means that you are doing some social works which are very good and doing any works which is really important for you. So there are many meaning for this. And every person means it their own way.
