GOD... let's see if you people can explain yourselves

Why do SOME people who beleive in god persistantly try and push their belief on us who do not beleive? I have my own beleifs and I'm doing just fine without god. And get this, I respect your beleifs, even though I will still debate with you about them. But I'm not going to tell you "You SHOULDN'T beleive in god". So stop telling me that I should. Thank You.

I wish I knew the answer to this question. It's funny because my mother is a presbyterian minister and my sister doesn't believe in God. And it irritates me that people look at her like she's a monster or something. And they always try to make her believe. Her arguments against God are amazing. It even gets me thinking. So I'm very sorry that you have to go through that.
