How do you feel when one of your close relative or a friend leaves you and goes?

Lotters, I have an interesting discussion in place. You may have many friends or relatives who are very dear to you who have been with you since childhood or some might have come up in your schooling or the college life. Do you have any such experiences when your friends have left for higher education or they are married or for some other reasons? I have some friends they are really close to me and have had talked to them since childhood or have been with them since the college days. When my Engineering was completed, one of my friends was preparing for CAT and I had no idea of what it does. One fine day, he came to me and told that he is not interested in CAT and wanted to go abroad for higher education. Trust me guys, I was completely blank and did know how to react to it. First it was quite disappointing for the fact that he is leaving me and the second one is that he is going only for pursuing his MS in the US. The day has come when he had to fly, my life was really miserable in the beginning when he left, I was roaming on the streets alone and was remembering the mischievous things both of us have been the part of. Later, I was used to it and am happy for him that he has been to US and is now a well settled guy that makes me proud. Seriously, the relationship is very important part of the life and the friend is one such thing where he will be on your side till the last breath.
