you may want to think twice about drinking Nido again.
I actually love the brand but it seems like I'm having second thoughts about this product.
I just read an article from a mother who i know so well. She used to be my agent and she had a horrid experience with it.
I can't copy and paste it here cause that would be plagiarism, so i'll just paste the link and you guys read it for yourself ok?
It's not a referral link.

Oooh! That is sooooooo gross!! I remember starting to fix cornmeal and finding feavels in the box. Ugh! Comes from heat in the Summer I am thinking. I wonder if it wasn't sealed correctly and they got in or if it was packaged that way. Not much care taken with this product to be sure. Ugh!

what's feavel?
sorry, i'm not from america. i'm from the philippines :D
and ewww... some companies just don't take care of their people enough for them to care about the products they sell.
but then again sometimes, these things happen and not all the time.
i feel sorry that you had to experience that too.
i haven't had a bad experience with the products i've used

Sorry, don't know what I was thinking. I meant weavel. Nasty little bugs that get into flour and such foods.

what if there's a cockroach swimming in the "fresh milk"?

I just wonder how did those ants were able to enter the can?
i saw the photo and it's not a small one (ants)
If lid is tightly closed...how did those ants managed to enter the can?

good question.
i don't have a definite answer to that.
you might want to ask her that by commenting on her post
but then again i may have a theory, if the quality control is poor, wherein a cockroach log is found inside the can, then maybe it's safe to assume that ants were already present during the packing.
just a theory... i'm no genius when it comes to these things

I was having gooseflesh while reading it. I give my four-year old enfakid since that is what she is having since childbirth. But sometimes when money is tight I buy nido and I just bought a box last night. And indeed the 720 isn't enough for being inconvenienced like that. It is truly absurd. I appreciate the invaluable information. thank you.

Nestle is a trusted brand in many household for years. It is really a pity that if their quality control department isn't doing their part to maintain the quality. It will makes people not trusting the quality of their products anymore. So far, my family had been buying Nestle products for years and haven't got any problem with it yet. Just hope they will continue to maintain the quality of their products or else we as the consumer needs to shift to other brands for the safety of our family especially the children.

Eww. That's gross. It's a good thing there were those ants otherwise, the kids would have drunk the milk all the way to the point where the roach foot was. Sadly, big companies do just that - offer to send replacement products when something goes wrong. I've experienced buying bottled water that were infested with ants. As in if you looked under, they had nested on it, so the ants couldn't have come from our place because it looked like they've been there for a while. I think that we should always be careful of the products we buy, even from "trusted" companies.

If that milk is sold in your country, I think you are in a better position to advise your country men and women. Some years ago there was ban world wide of milk porcessed in indonesia and there was warning sent to shoppers in my country. We are now actually are warned to not buy cheap brandds from Asian countries. They are not processed properly with proper helath regulation or meeting international standards. Though they are cheap and are very tempting in this economic cripple times, one is very temnpted to go for cheap things for Asia,. life is not that cheap to throw away for something that you can not die from. So readers in your country should visit this and take heed of it.
