Don't recommend something that you're not 100% sure of

everyday i see discussions about ptc sites and other money earning sites offered by members here on mylot. Most of the time it's amusing, but sometimes it becomes really annoying. Some unscrupulous people just want to make a fast buck to collect referrals only for the site they recommended to turn belly up. People, please understand that it affects your credibility when you do that. I haven't joined any other money earning site for a couple of months now because i'm quite content with the sites i have right now. I get offers left and right to try something new. Some people think that by enticing me with fast bucks i'll readily join. Sorry, it doesn't work that way. I've been burned in the past. And frankly it sucks when your venture ends up in failure. it not only affects you, it also affects the people you referred and the other people they referred. So you are disappointing more than 1 person. I suggest you research on it first. Try to reach payout first and then start recommending. and for others who have received invites or want to try these money making sites, please make sure you research as well. Know the people who are worth trusting. There are a lot of people worth your trust here who are recommending money earning sites. Usually they're the people who have more than 1500 posts. And if you do your research, make sure you join as the referral of the person who brought it to your attention first. I believe that's the fairest and most sincere thing to do. Oh and since you're already on Mylot, you're probably earning well enough too. So just keep posting and posting and you should be able to earn a nice sum. alright? happy earning on mylot people!

YES!! finally someone actually says it... that's why it's so hard for people to tell the difference between legit sites and scams... scams are overrunning the net now days... stop the madness!! thank you mylot!! :)

You are very correct chipesterkhan! WHen one has to recommend online sites he must be so sure first that it pays, and have experienced it himself. That also goes with experiences in life. When you give an advise , be sure that you yourself have experienced it already and that it's a sure nice thing to solve it.

that should be common sense for all advise givers. experience it first and then tell others about it. you really hit that one straight to the point :D

I agree, it's a chain reaction of upset people if you don't research and find out if the site is legit. I do have to say that I will recommend a site to people that I've only just joined IF I trust the person who recommended it to me in the first place. Even so, people need to learn to be nice etc, you wouldn't want to be scammed or feel bummed out about it, so why do it to other people? That should be the rule.

definitely i agree that it should be a rule. and it doesn't even have to be official, it should just be a rule as a person for us not to mislead

The sadest thing as you said is to have to post something in order to gain like referral and not actual to help a friend make money, That is wrong as you pointed out. User also need to be careful and even when referred to a site need to read the TOR and what others say about the site etc before really put your name down. The second thing you mentioned is very good. DO few things at a time and do it properly and meaningfully. Make good money there and enough instead of having mony sites anf finding hard to do something and do nothing and making nothing. It is just waste of time and money.

I agree with you.. I refer things.. but mostly it's because Its a site I love and has actually been making me money (or saving me money) for years. It's nice to get a referral once in a while. but many sites I refer I don't even get credit for referring. I just like to tell friends that it is a great way to make some extra cash..

I share the same sentiments with you. There are people here sometimes who would send a message about an online earning site and i don't join them at all because they just send a message with that link. I'm very satisfied with mylot as well and i don't usually seek for people to be my downline in other sites. I just make a review of how much i'm happy with that site but i'm really not good in asking people to join under me. And yes we owe the person who introduced to us that site so the least we could do is join under them after we've done research about it.

I absolutely agree. I have a sew sites I have been earning from for a few years. I wouldn't even bother recommending something that I haven't been paid from and haven't used for that long. I have my hands full with what I got I often don't have time to try something new. You know if you join under these people and then you don't earn for them they will soon be writing about how none of their referrals are active. I save them the trouble by not joining.. lol I'll stick with the sites that consistently pay me. I'm not big on change. :)

I always wait to get paid by a site before telling other people about it. Yes it is nice if you can get those referrals but will you keep getting them if people don't trust your opinion? Best to check something out thoroughly and keep it to yourself until you know it's a good deal.

I never recommend a site unless I actually get paid first. Even then, I make sure that I have the money in my PayPal before I recommend any site to anybody.

You are right! Everyone should be careful not to misleade others. Unfortunately this happens very often. I suppose that many people don't understand what they do but this is not an excuse. And there are too many naive users who want help and use the referral links to join scam sites.

Usually the ones who post their ref links in the discussions are the newbies. Sometimes they are even promoting sites that have already turned scam. What amazes me though is that those who are very eager to learn about the sites that the newbies are promoting are the ones who have been here in Mylot for a very long time.

what u say is right. people should recommend only after their getting some positive experience from a website. But there are occasions when things go wrong with the websites after a lapse of time and that causes them default. In these cases it is only a question of try and try method only,.
