It's multi-tasking. And yes women, especially married women are good at it. I think it's because we simply have too many things to do. Take care of our husband, children, the house and our job as well. We juggle too many things at the same time and through the years have gained expertise. Today i found myself multi-tasking in a funny way. Few days ago i wrote about being fruitful and now i just want to be fruitful by doing all those things at the same time. So what i did a few minutes ago was mylotting, toneaday using the same laptop, in the other room i was updating my blackberry OS using another laptop and in bed i was jotting down notes on my evernote on ipad for my lesson tonight. Now, every time i have to go to the toilet, i would check my laptop with mylot and toneaday running on it and would check responses and write down mine, as well as rating phrases in toneaday. Then i would go to the other room to check how's the updating going on since it takes a few minutes to an hour. Then i would go back to bed, read the book and jot down the questions on evernote. Looking at myself going back and forth, from one room to another, it was a bit funny. You may wonder why the heck didn't i bring the other laptop to my room instead? I was too lazy and i find it heavy to move it!

Hi! It is true that married women are expert in multi tasking and they can handle many tasks at the same time. I salute all those working women who are skilled in multi tasking. Their efforts must be appreciated. My better half is also an expert in handling multi tasks and finishing them in jiffy.

It is not so that he has gained experience because she is married to me, I feel that she was an expert in multi tasking even when she was unmarried.

Sometimes I do such things. Last time I cook while i was posting here. I burned potatoes and I had to do the job one more time. Sometimes I'm able to focus on many things the same time but what I learn is no cooking while using internet. Few weeks ago my partner put tails in the kitchen. The glue did not get dry fast enough so he decided check emails while the glue was drying out. When he went to the kitchen he started swearing and it grabbed my attention because he doesn't do it often. When I came to the kitchen I just started to laugh. The few tails were the way down while the glue was completely dry. It looked horrible. So this is multi tusking of my partner.

hehe The think is he is a builder that is why he felt so ashamed. He has to do it again and second time he didn't make the same mistake.

multitasking mom - mom with many work to do
Haha....You are lazy to bring the laptop to your room but you are being so hardworking going back and forth! You are really funny!(^^)Yes, everyone can do multi-tasking and most of women are really good at it especially dedicated and committed housewives. Others might think that there are just small things to do but when we gather all the chores it really make one think again about being a housewife. I am still single but I have gone through the same thing when I help my sister and need to look after my niece and cousins since. It is not as simple as what we may thought.(^^)

Right! I guess it's really natural for women to be multi-tasking. Putting on make-up, shaving and doing their nails at the same time lol!

Women truly can do everything. Women have so many obligations to clean up to deal with children to cook and wash clothes while going to work. All women have such duties and do so much. Women are wives, we have no equal. Have a nice day!

In my case, I had to leave my high-paying job because my husband is feeling all dramatic about it, having a lower income than me. Plus, I want to take care of my son. But since the income of my husband is not sufficient with our expenses, especially now that my son is already studying in big, I had to do part time jobs online. While I do household chores, taking care of the family and all, I had to write in between. And the funny thing is I am now making more money than him staying home and working online. Oh well, aren't women so great?

I multi task all day everyday, it's just a part of life.. I have 3 kids, I do all the motherly chores, I do all my partners office work for his company and any running around picking up materials etc. Also at the moment we're building our home so I am helping there too... I usually have both my laptop and my pc on multi tasking and I also have internet on my phone which I use allot too.. I always have it handy so when I'm feeding my 4month old son I can access mylot... I never seem to stop, even when I'm asleep I'm restless planning my day if thinking things through. There's Always something to do..... Men have trouble multi tasking. They don't realise how much we do and take everything we do for granted.

Yes, that's true. We women are very good at multi-tasking. I do that also. I open , 3 or 4 windows of Mylot when i am on it. while the other one is being sent, i would open the other one and read through , respond , etc. And i also open another window for reading the news.

That's what i do most of the days, but today is different as i'm using three different gadgets at the same time and not only one! So that's why i mentioned I found myself funny today, using two computers and an ipad to finish what i had to.

Women are really good in multitasking I have observed my boyfriend whenever I ask him to do something he always to one at a time, whereas women can do almost everything at a time, well we have to, and i think that is the reason why some other jobs preffer to employ women. :)

yes i agree will women are really known for that and good at that women can do many things in just a short time compare to boys. women even though they are tired or anything they will make sure first that everything is set for today before resting make sure the things is done especially for thier family... even me im always like that at home i usually watch in front of our t.v while surfing and doing mylot at my laptop then texting or accept call from my boyfriend or friends...

Well! Yes, But I will say some women and some men are good at it. I have seen many men doing the same, they do take care of wife, child, job, house and so many other things. However, while some set of tasks can be done in mulitasking mode; there are many other tasks which need individual attention.

NOt saying only women can do it alone. But generally not only some but MOST married women are good at it based on the circumstances i have mentioned.

yah being a multi-tasker is a thing that woman should be proud of,it saves you time and also helps in exercising brains.

Your findings are based on what? I do not see any evidence whatsoever for your claim... I guess it is no difference between Man or Woman in terms of multitasking, it depends on specific individual.

Maybe you're not observant as others here. Take a look at the comments and you will know. And based on experience i have seen a lot of things. I have seen my mother do the task well and earned more than my father. I have seen my colleagues doing the same thing. I'm not pushing you to believe and i am not claiming this to be true according to what you believe. I am saying this on my own observation and i'm claiming it because that's what i've observed as well as the other members of mylot too.
