Does these numbers alonside your mylot name makes you work more on mylot?

For me not you not force to post you message as long as you are a member you need more money so it is nice you have more friends and more money.

Hi prinju, I am also new in mylot like you.But I do not worry about posts.I am enjoying here very much.I learnt a lot from mylot and everyone is very helpful to share and gives ideas whatever you need. What I think is that if you comments in same discussion then your post number will not increase.You have give comments in different posts.But do not abuse it by giving post and try your best to give quality post.I came to know about mylot by one of my friends.I asked him and he told that by commenting in different post you can increase your post number and I saw that he post everyday more than 20 comments and he crosse 5000 post numbers.So,its up to you how much you can post on different discussion. I think the number increases as you post topics and respond to topics. I have not observed numbers going up when comments are made. But the payment factor relates to total participation and how it is calculated there is no information available to us.

While I too like seeing that number grow, it doesn't motovate me to post more. It just shows since I've been here, that I've been posting quite a lot. I personally set mini realistic goals that help me make a certain amount a day. I have a rough idea how much posting I need to do to make roughly a certain amount of money each day. My goal overall is to make the minuim payout each month so that I have some additional income every month. I'm well aware I'm not going to get rich, and while that's an appealing thought it's not a realistic goal. I personally like making smart realistic goals. So making small goals each days helps me know about how long it'll take to reach that ten bucks I need. Anything I make in addition to that is a considerable bonus in my opinion. While I've never made much more... then the minium, It's nice knowing the min is all I need. I focous on qulity and length of my posts not so much how many posts I make. The more active you are, the more detailed your posts are the more you make. For example if you post only a handful of posts and each post is say two-four paragraphs a peace then they're worth as much as if you posted say fifty posts. So No, in the long run I'm not overally concerned on how laarge I can make my post count. As long as my post, however few they are are worthwhile and meaningful.

Well not me as long as I enjoy what I am doing numbers doesn't matter. But I wish that I have a lot of free time to do things that really matter, but then, we are bound to work for hours just to sustain our daily needs and buy some things that we really want.

When I started here in myLot, my objective was to reach the 500 posts. The reason why I wanted to reach 500 posts is because after the 500 posts, you can copy and paste. And, sometimes, there are phrases that I don't know how to write in English, so, I need to use a translator.

sometimes it motivates me, but most of the time i do not even look at my number. I am looking from the main page for items that interest me to comment on.

Friend number is increased when we work more. Yes if we response then number will increase but if we put our comment on our discussions then number will not increase. No friends this number is not effect on mylotter life because everyone is here join this for fun or make lots of good friends. Not only for number. I think no one can force here to do the work. This is depend upon our wish.

Yes,those numbers are an extra motivation for me,because they give me more energy whenever I see the number beside my name growing.I also establish some objectives to reach a certain number by the end of the week and that also motivates.Now I'm very close to reaching number 1000,which is indeed a milestone for me,and I guess I will celebrate this historical moment!So,at least for me,these numbers have an obvious effect,they're like a force that drives me forward and makes me more active on mylot.

The number is just an indication that you have been working on mylot. I think it can be of various importance for people. Some might find it to be a rewards fro how many posts or comments you've done. Others perhaps get inpired to work on more posts. I like to see the number increase.

I personally feel motivated, like you, by watching the number increase! Today my goal was to reach 300 posts, which I've done (I only needed about 3 posts so it wasn't hard!) and I'd like to reach 400 by the end of the month, though I don't know if I'll manage it. I do think they make a difference, after all, I was desperate to reach 200 or 250 or whatever it was in order to be able to use the mylot emoticons, and now i want to reach 500 to be able to copy and paste. At the minute, if something goes wrong with my post, I'm too lazy to retype the whole thing, and so all the time I put into that post is wasted, which really irritates me.

At first those numbers beside my name disturbs me. Especially if I see the numbers on the name of others, which has five digits on them. Actually its not the number beside my name but the numbers beside the name of those who are already here for a long time that inspired me and pushed me to work more. I tell myself if they can do, I can do better. ANd I am still trying. I hd a question on this and those people are so humble giving newbies advice on what to do, they told me they dont even care about those numbers all they do is have fun and their earnings follow.

Actually no :) I enjoyed posting ideas on topics and at the same time start discussions. It's something that I always do online so I don't really care much on the number beside my number :D Though it's quite amusing to see it increase as you participate :D

I think it's cool that it keeps track of the posts for us. Since I'm not very high yet, I feel like working pretty hard. I want to get up to 100 so I can be ranked. When starting off on a site, it is all new. There are so many places to post. I think eventually I will slow down. I happen to have the time right now to make a few good posts.

At first yes, I like to see my number go up. But lately, I don't care anymore. I just response when i see an interesting topic, start one when I'm in the mood. I don't see it as a money earning scheme now. I just enjoy myLot. Happy myLotting!
