Ya temptation is really bad. But if you are getting so much of discount i think then it's okay.

Especially when you discover those sites that offers discounted vouchers on different stores. I myself, have bought two vouchers because it is 75% off. It's been a week since I dont log in to that site. Thank God because it's tempting.

I don't really know if I'm addicted. I work on line so big part of my life is here in the Internet. However sometimes I have enough of my pc and I like to unwind somehow. I take a book, not e reader or any device but old fashion paper back book. And this book believe me or not reminds me that there is a world apart from Internet.

I think going online for a living can't be considered as being addicted. If you often go to social sites like FB,tweeter etc, then that's the time you can be called as online addict.

I am one of them! I am online from early afternoon until late at night. I write articles and blogs, I visit my few social networking sites, I am on here most of the day also. Hobbies? When we took our vacation in early June I was okay for three days but was awful anxious to get back home and back online!

Ya good addiction. If addiction gives you money and it is not harmful in any sense then we can not say it is an addiction because addiction is a negative term.

I wouldn't really say that I am addicted to the internet but it is a pretty entertaining way to pass the time sometimes. I usually only use the internet to try and earn money when I have free time to burn and am watching television because I might as well be trying to earn money as I'm listening to music or watching television.
Sometimes I do spend a lot of time on the internet trying to earn some extra cash but there are a lot of other things that are so much more entertaining that I would rather do. Internet is still definitely a great tool and has helped me to do some pretty great research and has helped me to earn some extra money.

I don't think I am addicted. I do go on it every day(night) when I get tot work. But then there isn't much else to do there.. Many occasions on my weekend off work. I don't even go on my computer at home.. I think if I was addicted... this wouldn't be the case. I am on Facebook nearly everyday. but sometimes I am bored and I start with other projects.. Like here at mylot or I make things on Zazzle.. Sometimes I will just watch a TV show or Movie on HULU.
I do find the internet to be a real convenience.. it's great when you have a question and you are having a hard time finding an answer. You can find out info on just about anything online.. usually in a few minutes. But I don't think that is an addiction. I would be really bummed out if I didn't have access to it whenever I wanted though.
But, there is always reading a book!

Social networking sites are the most anti-social sites ever! They have nothing whatsoever to do with Internet addiction. You can "like" but not "dislike". How social or democratic is that?
Addiction is really having nothing better to do with your time. Those who spend hours chatting to strangers may be called addicted although psychiatrists probably have a different term!
Using the Internet as a tool to improve your knowledge, keep up to date with news and events, and as a method of communication between known people is totally different. No matter how much time you are online, it cannot be an addiction as it is more an occupation!
So, no I'm not addicted but yes I am fully occupied!

Hi petersum
Yours point of view is very clear and very true. There is a difference between occupied and addiction. Occupation is more positive as it provide you knowledge. So, keep fully occupied.

Nope i'm not one of them at all. I hate facebook but i'm addicted to mylot in my own definition of addiction. But at least this one addiction has a lot of benefits and merits and no demerits at all for me. Though i don't spend my whole day here, i do spend a lot of hours writing when i'm in the mood.
I don't see myself addicted to the internet as i don't touch it when i'm with my family and i don't seek for it when i'm busy with them.

Hi toniganzon
It's good that you are not addicted to internet. You give full time to your family which is very good. Have fun with your family.

I use the internet often but I don't consider myself addicted. I don't constantly think about it and can do without it unnecessary. I honestly don't mind spending my time on the internet if its productive and I gain from it. I worry, however, for those who spend too much time on facebook and the such. If I need to contact some of my friends I usually just log in and they are there, available, and quick to respond.

Hi Triapod
Keep in touch with friends is really cool. But addiction is something else. Internet is always productive if use in the good manner. So, keep it up.
