what the future lies for him ? Or are you the one who accepts what the future will bring him, because he knows that he has done all he can and is assured of a better one.
As for me, I just go with the flow of life. I leave everything to God, who knows what is best for me. Though of course, I do the means to assure me of a better life ahead.
What about you guys?

I live in present. I do not worry about future because tomorrow has yet to come. I do not worry either about my past because I cannot undo it. Hopefully, God will look after my future, as you have believe.

Yeah, there is no use of cribbing about past, let us live in our present.

That's correct! The past is past, so there's nothing we can do about it. The present is here, so let's make all correct ways to live life at the fullest, and assure us of a better future. Let's help ourselves so that God will also help us to make our future brighter.
Let's not worry for tomorrow , for tomorrow is yet to come.

Sometimes life has a funny way of turning things around. That's right God knows what's best for us. Prayer and faith coupled with good works, that's how we should look at life. It is important to find out the direction God wants us to take because it is always the best. :)

I like how you said "Prayer and faith coupled with good works, that's how we should look at life." I do not think it is enough to just sit back, do nothing, and leave things to a "higher power" (whatever that higher power is that you believe in), because we also have to work and put the effort into things or we will not be able to reap the benefits. Otherwise, if we do not try to do what we think is right and work towards it ourselves, then it would be similar to me sitting in my house in front of the television all day and expecting someone to walk in and hand me a million dollars - it is not going to happen.

God will not help us, if we don't help ourselves. He has to see an effort in our part to make everything right, before He gives in to our fervent request for His help.
I like that,"Prayer and faith coupled with good works, that's how we should look at life" . That is very true, somethingbig!

I try to remember to have balance in my life, which means that I remember the past, live in the present and prepare for the future. If you do not remember your past, then you are bound to repeat the same mistakes over and over again, plus you will not have the positive and happy memories that you have created. If you do not prepare for the future, then when the future becomes the present you might not be able accomplish what you want to do or be able to provide for yourself and your family. If you do not live in the present, then you will never be happy, because right now is all that we really have and what we do with our lives in this very moment is all that we really can control.

Yes, let the past serve as memories worth remembering and the lessons it had as something to correct in our present life. But there's no use dwelling in our mistakes from the past, bury them, move on and make sure you never let them happen again in your life.
As to the present, live it to the fullest, making sure that you are taking the correct ways coupled with prayers, to assure you of a better future.

I'm a bit of a control freak, so I couldn't stand not knowing what happens next, or not having any control of my destiny. But I've often found that the best things that happen in my life are not the ones that I've planeed. It is often the things that I just stumble in to, that have been worthwhile.
So, I'd like to say that I want to and try to know everything, but others I just learn to accept.

We do want to know our future sometimes. But we also know that we can make our future brighter, by doing what is right in the eyes of our maker. When we do that, God will do the rest.

I am the type that's like to go with the flow, I only try to worry about what is occuring today and worry about the future when it comes because if not I know I will drive myself crazy. I used to be the type of always wanting to know what the future will bring, but not anymore I have learned to relax and take it one day at a time.

I am too before. But not anymore.
I realized that worrying will only make me more frantic and older.
I learned to just do what is proper for tomorrow's needs and let God do the rest.

It's not a destiny or faith of what will happen to your life because you have to work to earn the things in life. If you want to be somebody or someone then you have to work hard for it without anybody that your gonna bump on the way with will and passion. From simple respect to health and wealth we have to work for it for us to have these factors. Remember the old saying '' Do all your best and God will do the rest''

You are very correct resutaa! In everything we have to do our best and God will take care of the rest". We never have to worry about tomorrow if we know that at present we are doing all we can to make our life comfortable now until tomorrow and offer it to God.

Correct sjvg!
Let's just make good on our present life so that we can be assured of a good future. At least, we will not worry of what tomorrow will bring us.
