Most specially if the storm is giving a big bad freaking day to every one else..
Provinces that has low lands, those people are endangered because of the strong floods, land slide and lightning strikes. who would have thought that two teenagers would die in a lightning strike inside their house.
Then an emotional Government Official of Albay blaming Pag-Asa for not giving an accurate warning, probably because her mom died in an accident due to the storm. but PAGASA has always give an accurate storm.
As for the Suspension of classes, I feel bad for the students who's mood swings changed because of this disaster like storm. I believe the storms are stronger than before,

Yes, storms are definitely stronger and scarier now, I like the rain, but too much of it is not good. I don't like it when it's really flooded, it's really traffic and everything, it'd be nice if it just rained at night.. I hope the weather would get better soon.

Hello Lady1993,
I believe climate change has contributed for the rain being stronger. we never had small twisters and large thunders before that kills people. even in manila if there is some traffic because there's a lot of people going home. another is accidents just like what we have watch on televisions. Have a Nice day.

I do love the rain but I am actually hating it right now. It's been raining like crazy for a couple of days now and there are floods at most places and landslides at places killing people and stuffs. It's really weird that when it's hot, it's extreme, same with snow and it's the same with rain. The weather is getting really weird these days, I can't understand. Just makes me so sad

Hello thatgirl,
I wouldn't hate the rain literally but feel sad because people are not benefitting from this because it's destroying their homes and Livelihood. as for the hot weather, I can compensate since we got a maid to have them do the house choirs. I love the rain because it keeps me from being mad or having a good mood.Have a Nice day.

Hello Chiyosan,
I don't think that way, before I didn't give a damn about anything. When ever there is rain it's lucky for me for some reason and It's not something that we shouldn't consider every day since it's summer all the time. there is hope if the people desire for it, besides why look in the sky if it's going to depress you. anyways, be careful and bring umbrella when ever there is rain. have a nice day.

Strange you should mention rain because we have plenty of it here today. There is a storm happening right now as I type this; it is raining very heavily with thunder and heavy winds. The house is dark and cold, very depressing. Our weather bureau predicted this one and they say it should end by later this afternoon. I hope so.

Hello Paula,
Well, it's better to have at least stay in your home since you got strong rains there. thunders are terrible foe because it has killed some of my people simply because they got poor roof structure. that's good to know and it's really nice that yours are almost or finally over. Have a nice day.

Actually, the rain dampens the spirit of most people. This is because they cannot just walk without getting soaked. They have to go to the office in slippers and bring their office shoes in their bag (that's me whenever it rains), lest it gets wet also.
But when the rain becomes torrential, there will already be fear in people's faces. That's because flood could now occur almost anywhere.

Hello SimplyD,
I would have hated rain my entire life if I were living in those provinces. They kept loosing everything there, and now thousands of families are terribly affected. there are donations and rations coming in but what they need is permanent protection and shield from the floods. Still, sewer and drainage infrastructure is the key for preventing more floods. have a nice day

I am really touched by your views on rain and thunderstorm.I live in one of the remotest place of India.Ours is a hilly region and my relatives live along the downstream.Life is miserable for them when it rains incessantly for days. The whole area covering upto a strech of four to five kilometres are flooded for days. They have no other option than to run to the hills to save themselves.Every year their crops and cattles get washed away.In some families there are instances of losing their dear ones if there is heavy rain during the night time.

Hello Bravobrino,
yeah, most people in the provinces and living in the hills and mountains are not safe when ever there is rain. I think there weren't enough trees to absorb and protect the residents from teh floods. somethings gonna stop these thing for some reason nature is just getting stronger. Have a nice day

I think if we think about the damages done because of heavy rains, we would always be saddened by it. However, we can't really control mother nature.
I like rains though, but only if I don't need to go out or work on that day. Otherwise, it's really a pain in the neck to go out into the rain being wet or dirty, not to mention cold during the heavy rains.
As for the indecisiveness of the government for suspension of classes, I think it's difficult to announce things like that because we don't really know how harsh the storm is going to be. I know it's frustrating for all of us to know that classes are suspended when we're already there. The problem is when we go home and there's no more transportation to take us home and the flood is coming.
Have a great MyLot experience!

There are times that I feel kind of sad during rainy seasons. But I really prefer it than super hot days that you can't even sleep at night. As for PAGASA, they are giving forecast but they can't really control the direction of the storm. I believe that PAGASA is really working hard to serve the country.

Hello Chiwasaki,
I guess having a hot days can also be bad because water supply is really going high on the use of water because the bills is really high on summer. even at this reainy season I couldn't even afford to get some sleep. PagAsa has the technology but not easy to accurate weather. they even said that even US experts would find it very hard to predict it also. have a nice day

Sometimes rain can be a blessing when It is needed. I love to snuggle under the bed sheets to sleep or just take a hot coffee or soup. It tends to make you always hungry. It can cause me to be depress sometimes especially when I am already sad by just looking at the weather. After a dry spell rain is a welcome change but definitely not in torrents.

Hello Mantis,
I believe this Bantay Bata or any organization for the children for that matter has also given disadvantages to the school because the teachers will have a very hard time disciplinary measures to the child. luckily my mom has retired after all these years, becuse she used to strip them of their underwear when ever they are punished and shows them off in the classroom withtheir classmates. have a nice day.

A little of everything is not okay. Rains is okay, but storms! I just wish that our local weathere forecaster will be more accurate in giving signal storms. Just like today. They told that there will be heavy rains but it doesnt much. I wish for bettere weather forecast..

Hello Bluespygirl,
Rain is okay here since we are actually dont' experience flood as we have a higher ground compare to others. there is no problem with the weather forecast, but the real problem there is the lack of infrastructure, and proper tunnel route to keep this place from completely being flooded. have a nice day.

Lots of rain is quite depressing. It stops you from doing what you want like playing out because it would be too dangerous. Too much is enough, however as a child used to enjoy the rain but when when you grow up you despise it when it suddenly catches you off guard.

Hello AstroVersion,
Well, I am not one of those people who plays outside. Although I use to walked around every single morning, that didn't convince me to be consistent in terms of it every morning. I don't really despise it because I still tend to enjoy it when ever there is rain, except now that I had to mylot. Have a nice day.

Rains also make me feel gloomy. It makes me want to stay at home and just sleep. But this is not the reality because I have to go out and work. I am also saddened by the destuctions caused by storms. Nature has its own way. We just have to be ready.
