Hi Lotters, I am really confused. I hail from Hyderabad and am working in Bangalore. I have two thoughts, first is to purchase a smart phone and a laptop. There are a few friends who encourage me to purchase a laptop of high end configuration and spend less for a mobile. they force me to purchase a normal mobile and ask me to put the remaining money of the mobile to get a laptop that has a very good configuration. The thing is that I really love to have both, a high end mobile and a high end Laptop. So could any one of the lotting team will help me in giving your inputs that helps me to make zero on any of the posts. Happy Lotting!

When it comes to buying a phone or computer, you have to think about what you can aford vs what you're looking for.In other words what do you need the computer and the phone for? Since you're talking smart phone, it's safe to assume that the phone would be used more for text messaging, and phone calls. So forget good battery life. Depending on the applications you use, you can easily eat a battery pretty quickly. It wouldn't be uncommon to use up a battery daily and have to charge it constently, but If you don't use a lot of battery-consuming applications you could make it last slightly longer. How much and long the battery last really depends on you. So before buying, look at how much you're willing to spend, and what features you need on both the phone and the computer. Do some research. There are a lot of online stores that let you bulid as you go. So you can see at a glance, how much that extra memory, or how that video card will run you as well as wireless technology. So stop and think of what you want vs what you need. If you can find what you're looking for and save a little money... more power to you.

It depends on what are you going to use the pc for for games or programs which want a pc with good configurations so like if you want to play games with super graphics or work with programs which want good configuration i am talking bout 4-8 gb ram and so if you don't use it for this buy a pc with 1-2 gb ram the processor and video card don't make them really expensive and buy a telephone of what you want or if you use it for the things i said ^ buy a strong pc with a normal phone

I think you may try to purchase a laptop and a normal mobile phone. Because if you purchase laptop then it may help you in many manner you may connected to internet with a broadband connection. And also you can make presentation for your business. So I advise you for purchasing laptop over smart phone. And you can purchase simple multimedia phone for your uses.

Well i personally suggest having both of them.. Take a phone though not very expensive but niether a just another usual phone... Take a android smartphone of around 15000 bucks.. there are a lot of excellent phones available in this range... I think a cell phone is a thing which you carry everywhere you go so it should be really fully loaded with all the hi-tech features(3g, Wi-fi, and a good camera being the most important).. Dont go for a 30000 phone but atleast around 15000... You can sacrifice a bit on laptop... But taking a averagely priced Android phone would help you to get a good laptop as well... Have a great day...!!!!!

it would have been helpful if u had given us ur budget. well in any case, i wouls suggest to u that u get a samsung android phone, it would cost u around 15k to 20k. they are excellent phones with good haedware. i use one myself. then get yourself a hp notebook with atleast i3, 500 gig hard disk and 4 gb ram and a decent graphics card. that would cost u in the range of 45k to 60k.
