Why do we as humans place so much emphasis and importance on love?

We as humans have so many rough edges in life. Everywhere there is rush and turmoil. Our inner self is aggresive and full of questions and the only thing which can answer and encounter these ill effects is love. Its the best feeling in the world. But we need to understand here that love can be anything starting from a feeling between a couple to a feeling of a gardener for his plants. Its so huge and vast sector. Love covers most of the answers. thats why its greatly emphasized in all civilizations and cultures.

In my opinion, love is a word that has a wide meaning. It says that love has several levels and its highest expression is charity and mercy. In the first two commandments mentioned love. I think love is the goal to be achieved from humanity.

Simple. It feels sooooooooo good. To be in love and have the person be in love with you is a very sweet , powerful feeling. To love a person is wonderful and to have them love you back is fantastic. And once you have experienced this feeling, many want keep feeling this way for as long as they can.

Well, think about it! Preoccupation? If you were all alone. No family, no friends, no pets how sad would that be. Love and people who care about us is a very important part of a human's life. Emotions lead us and keep us going. Without them we would be nothing. Love is the most important one because it makes us all feel apart of the entire world unit and apart of our own circle.

Love can make us do many things.. it even makes some go crazy. It can really wake emotions in people, make them feel inspired, There are lots of different kind of love too which makes it more interesting to explore and study.

Hi Awinds! Your question is just the same as what I wonder for a long time. Why we can't get away from LOVE? Everywhere we go LOVE is always the point of discussions. I think it is because we can't separate LOVE with human as it already apart from us. We humans are created by God with it so if we don't have it .....hmmmm.....I can't imagine if we don't have it what is going to happen to the world...I think the world will not be in peaceful and harmony at all.Love play an important role in our lives.(^^)

Hi Awinds, I would say love is one of the natural basics to live on earth just like water and air. You can find those without taking love, feel so much sick. Love is a invisible rope which bonds all creatures on earth and makes the earth round about.

It's simply because we are all made of love. We were born in this world because of our parent's love. No human being is born without love. And we bring that love throughout our lives until we die.

i think maybe because we all want to love and be loved, that's the all common interests of every individual,including pets. and also because if you feel love you're happy and you almost feel complete. even our own system produce that hormones just to feel that... so i think world evolve better because of love.

i think it's because love is what makes us humans, well we have this warm feeling when were in love. we always think of the one we love. love teaches us everything, every emotions;happy, lonely, anger etc. we live to love. do you imagine life without it?
