Dead Baby Skunk In The Vegetable Garden!

A few weeks ago, my dog killed (and rolled in multiple times) a baby skunk. Naturally, it smelled terrible, but we washed the dog and my dad buried the baby skunk in the vegetable garden. The reason he did that is because it is the only place in the yard with the fence around it so my dog could not dig it back up. But I have been wondering if the produce that is growing in there is going to be affected or possibly diseased. I really like my white sweet corn, and I would hate for it to taste like skunks.
